SOME SAY YOU’RE CRAZY?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each page, and sharing is encouraged.

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:6-8

A double-mind is having, in the mind, opposite or opposing views at different times of the same thing. In other words, instability. PS.12:2 tells us: “To be doubled-minded is the same as having a double heart.”

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8

In layman’s terms, doubled-mindedness is a sickness of the inner man that no person or science can cure. A true disease of the heart that is often described as a mysterious arrangement of merciless logic for a futile purpose.

Not having the ability to make up your mind seems to be the midway point between dreams and realities. What I want to know is how a troubled mind full of doubt, wishy-washy, and coupled with deceit, focus on the victory with 2 faces. One that celebrates others publicly, all the while digging a grave for most privately.

Contrary to what modern Christianity teaches today, one of the greatest acts of love to a double-mined person is a rebuke. Just remember, rebuke without love is abuse. Leaders lookout for people who can criticize them constructively and rebuke them reasonably.

Leaders also spend time reviewing their mistakes rather than having fantasies about their achievements. Doubled-mined people just move on, and people unsure, just like them, follow.

Did you know you can’t live by faith and protect your fears at the same time? And you cannot rebuke a devil that you continuously grant access to your life.
