BEFORE YOUR TIME?

Did you know thousands of ways to die are lurking at every turn?

Someone told me the heart only has so many beats, so they suggested I not overdo it or welcome any unnecessary risk.  For instance, to die for something someone else caused; a car accident, killed by stray bullets, etc…

Some lives are lost because of a failure to communicate, such as ignoring danger signs when pointed out, having an inability to work with others can and will cause accidents intended or not, but this is just the tip of what could happen if not careful.

It doesn’t take much to cause an early Expiration Date.

The World and the Devil will Kill You, but you don’t have to take my word for it.  Ask yourself how many times have you uttered the words they were taken too soon?

Most of us have rules and certain expectations we place upon ourselves.  Some of us have a do-by-date, we need to do this or that by a certain time or else the cause is a loss.

Sometimes we have a dead-by-action date, that’s when Death announces itself prematurely with freak accidents caused by ignoring safety rules or others, intentional or not.  We can be as healthy as physically possible, have the greatest doctors, and still, Life has an Expiration Date.

The truth is none of that matters when it comes to the time you have been allocated on this Earth, at least not until God says so.

Knowing that some still think they can control the time of death by sheer will or an overload of vitamins coupled with vigorous workouts.  So why is it after we have done all we can to preserve our bodies we still ignore the other real-life and death threats like The Corona-Virus?

I believe everything that has breath and things that grow roots has a shelf-life.

I suggest we live life with exuberance and a healthy dose of caution.   Did you know it’s those dots in the middle that counts, you know, the things that happen between life and death?

In my opinion, young adults’ attitude is, whatever happens, happens.  They pretend nothing bothers them and that they are immune to life unexpected follies.  I call that action a form of self-protection that’s lacking in common sense, a lack of education, and Jesus Christ.

What I mean is, when the young experience a close call, most times they will flip it off under the assumption that it won’t happen again.  This is where I believe they go wrong, because of what happened earlier they don’t take into consideration that incident could resume later on in the day and into tomorrow.

In other words, it is not over until it is over.

I suggest we take whatever happens as lessons to be learned if not, they will return over and over again until they are understood or at least resolved.

Older adults set limits, they understand they can’t help getting older, which happens if you are blessed long enough to live through whatever happens.  They also know you don’t have to be old to die.

It’s Some to Think About.

Thank you, for the support, and remember Jesus is Lord!
