LIFE HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE?

Life has an expiration date, our job is to not rush it.

There are a thousand ways to die before your time.  Someone told me the heart only has so many beats, so they suggested to not overdo it or welcome any unnecessary risk.  For instance, to die for something someone else did; a car accident, home fires, etc.

Some people lose their lives because of a failure to communicate, such as ignoring danger signs when pointed out, having an inability to work with others can and will cause accidents, but this is just the tip of what could happen if not careful.  It doesn’t take much to cause an early expiration date.

The World and the Devil will Kill You.  But there’s no need to take my word for it; ask yourself how many times have you uttered They were taken before their time?

Most of us have rules and certain expectations we place upon ourselves.  Some of us have a sell-by-date we need to do this or that before anything else, others has a use-by-date if we don’t hurry and get this finished its useless.

Sometimes there is a dead-by-date when Death announces itself prematurely with freak accidents.  The good news is It’s still not your time unless God says so.

All that means is we can be as healthy as possible, have the best doctors and Life still has an Expiration Date.

Some think they can control their time of death by sheer will or an overload of vitamins coupled with vigorous workouts.

So why is it after we have done all we can to preserve our bodies we seem to ignore the other signs, like The Corona-Virus or not looking both way when crossing the street; this can be a real threat.

I believe everything that has breath and things that grow roots from the ground have a shelf-life.  It’s the way of the world.

I suggest we live life as if there were no expiration dates; It’s those dots in the middle that counts, you know, the things that happen between life and death.

In my opinion, our current age determines how most of us use our time, what I mean is the youth tend to overlook close calls and near misses.  No fear is the law in their book.

I believe young adults attitude is whatever happens, happens.  They pretend nothing bothers them and that they are immune to life’s unexpected follies.  I call that action a form of self-protection that’s lacking in common sense and or a set-back in the Field of Education.

In any event, the youth may have a point.  What I mean is, when the young experiences a close call today, more than likely, they will flip it off under the assumption that it won’t happen again tomorrow.  This is where they go wrong because what happened earlier, can resume later on in the day and into tomorrow.

I suggest we take whatever happens as lessons to be learned, if not, they will return over and over again until they are understood.

Older adults set limits they understand they can’t help getting older, they also know, you don’t have to be old to die.

Its Something to Think About!

Jesus is Lord.  And thank you for your support.
