HEIFERS?
Yep, that’s what I said Heifers, plus I have a question.
Sometimes we use words in a manner in which they were not intended, like the word Heifer. The heifers I am referring to are female cows, they are young and have not yet borne a calf.
The thing is, I have heard women, especially the young ones call each other all types of cows, (fat cow, ugly cow, etc.) and or heifers. The truth is, those Heifers will lounge in the barn all day and night like a lazy teenager, well at least until one gets the initiative to leave the barn.
All it took was for one cow to make a decision to change her environment, a decision that created a movement. Because of her breaking stride with the usual, the rest of the young cows lined up in a single file behind her and then proceeded to follow her out of the barn and into the field.
It could be a bright sunny day, gray and rainy, but that wouldn’t matter to those heifers, they would still be in the barn for all eternity if not for one, the one that took the lead.
Once in that position, I suppose it would still be up to her to make the correct decision of when to return to the barn with all the followers in tow.
In my opinion, once you get a taste of leadership it could be rewarding, as well as addicting.
In the meantime, the cows will never know if it was not for her, they would still be sitting in the barn instead of grazing, or whatever it is cows do and still be completely oblivious to their circumstances.
The question I would like to ask you is, Which one are you, a Leader or a Follower? That’s all this is about.
