ADVICE; TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT?

I have heard good things come to those who wait…What I know is, Greater things come to those who get off their assets and do something to make it happen.

I have done a lot of traveling in my day, I was always looking for the next best thing to find joy.  What I discovered was Joy cannot be traveled to, owned, earned or worn. It is the Spiritual experiences of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.  Denis Waitley

If you’re wondering how to get things done, just remember the distance between dreams and reality is called, action.  And, the only difference between a rut and the grave are the dimensions.  

Next time you get into your feelings, remember others have feelings too, and if you don’t realize that or too self-centered to care, your feeling will be hurting all the time.

Dying is something we have no control over, so why miss your life being afraid of it.  Living life to the fullest is our only priority.  But, when death does arrive it’s not our job to keep it alive, it’s our job to secure the memories?

Martin Luther King Jr. gave a sermon about death shortly before his own and he warned us in his speech that “You maybe 38 years old, as I happen to be, and one day some great opportunity stands before you and calls upon you to stand up for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. You refuse to do it because you are afraid…Well, you may go on and live until you are 90, but you are just as dead at 38 as you would be at 90”

The older I got the more I realized I don’t hate people, I just don’t like their ways.

I thought I knew what I needed until I learned Necessity is blind until it becomes conscience. Freedom is the consciousness of necessity.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.  Phillippians 4: 11-13

When it comes to resolutions: I want to be the person that looks forward to not restarting old habits, or to start bad ones like binge eating, drinking too much, etc…I only want to be content.  And I don’t want to wake up after another 365 days wondering why I didn’t become a better person.

Can I tell you a secret?  There are no secrets.  And when you put yourself above the rest, the truth comes in at a close second.

Just because you are old doesn’t mean you can lead.  Especially if you can’t embrace change.  And in case you didn’t know, Adaptability is the simple secret to Survival.

Did you know the mark of an educated mind is to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it?  And, It’s not necessary to hold all the cards in life, but it is important how well you play with the cards you do hold?

It’s too bad, an opportunity is missed by most people because it’s dressed in overalls and look like work.  And, did you know for the top to survive, the bottom has to stay low.  Get up.

Some of the best advice I have ever received came from my mother.  She told me to be authentic and transparent.  She said I was irreplaceable, and I believed her.
