IDLE HANDS?

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11 KJV

Idle: Avoiding work, lazy, without purpose or effect, pointless. Does this describe anyone you know, maybe you?

In most cases, idle hands do not produce enough fruit to support our livelihood (not working, lack of will), and did you know your peers are watching and are well aware of your state of mind or lack of?

I say grab hold of your life; never wait on someone to take your destiny into their hands. It’s simple, they will offer their plan, for you. The bottom line is you lose.  What is for you is for you.

For Satan finds some mischief still for idle hands to do. Isaac Watts.

There are people out there that like to misuse people and words to their benefit in place of doing something themselves, often twisting and reshaping their intentions until they are almost unrecognizable, so let’s nip this in the bud when it comes to being lazy.

The difference between leisure and idleness is that leisure is freedom provided by a cessation of activities (having a job, busy) while idleness is the state of being idle; inactivity. Worthless, some would say.

To be perfectly clear, idleness is unhealthy and it produces negative reactions such as; fretfully weak minds. As you know, I am a firm believer in education from reliable sources, nevertheless, some are just too lazy to learn, to share or care.

In other words, what good is knowing how too, or knowing something worth sharing, if you’re the only one that knows that something? To not share that thing or information is a total loss for all including placing an unwinnable and wasteful situation upon yourself?  Foolishness.

Did you know being lazy is a body and head killer caused by inactivity?

We don’t need others to tell us what’s going on within our own bodies, especially when it’s in a constant state of abuse as we battle ourselves because of a lack of control concerning health issues such as exercise, overeating, alcohol abuse, or just plain old refusing to listen?

To be idle is a short road to death, created by the I should have’s.

I’ve known people who have destroyed their minds and bodies by merely sitting on their assets eating (sleeping, etc) themselves to death. Maybe it’s a habit, greed or helplessness). Some prefer to starve themselves, even after knowing the consequences of both actions, or lack of.

Did you know there are more than a few that could end up suffering a premature death for those very reasons, as they continue to be slothful (slow and lazy)?

On the other hand, some of us are born this way or that. Then there is such a thing as self-abuse.  I can even blame some of it on genes.

The reality is somethings will never change, but the impossible may; perhaps if we try coupled with having Faith in Jesus Christ. The KVJ version of the Bible tells us in Luke 18:27: What is impossible for man is made possible with God.

If we refuse to upgrade ourselves how can we expect others to be there when we aren’t there for ourselves? There are consequences for neglect.

We don’t need the Devil or any tools From Him/Her, especially since we were born with all the tools to create and or reinvent ourselves through Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior if only we would get up off our butts and put all those worthwhile thoughts into action.

God has given us a plan. Therefore we don’t need the guesswork that is presented to us that may be soiled. You may have different beliefs than I, but you had better believe there are demons walking the Earth that want to keep you useless (drugs, etc).

Sitting around waiting for something to happen is not life. To be diligent is a way of life; foolish people are idle, wise people are diligent. (Diligent: showing care and conscientiousness in one’s work or duties.)   SMART PEOPLE LISTEN.

Now don’t get me wrong, there are times when circumstances take us to idleness; broken bones, etc… If this was to happens, and more than likely it will, we just have to wait On The Lord. When our intentions are solid, we progress with growth infused with productivity, and patience.

I have never known a World without setbacks, I just try to prepare for the unexpected and get to work as soon as possible. Whenever that is?

When armed with all the tools, you are ready to be an achiever, but, while your engine is revving high, don’t lose track of the fact that everything else has to line up, beside you…for success.

Don’t let God be the missing link; He said, You can do nothing without me. John 15:5 KJV

Victor Hugo tells us, A man is not idle because he is absorbed in thought; what kind of thought, that sound like another form of laziness, like some career students understand?

So, I disagree, I heard, If you study long, you study wrong. Well, that’s just me, but, I do agree with Victor when he stated, There is visible labor and there is invisible labor.  For me, I feel it’s best to always have someone behind the scenes. Hint: Jesus

I know you know thinking about going to work and actually being there are two different things. Don’t you?

And just in case you didn’t know, tossing and turning in your sleep does not qualify as exercise, so get up and actually do something.

It’s Something To Think About!

Jesus is Lord!
