STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES.

STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES.

We are all born stupid, but one must work hard to remain stupid.  Benjamin Franklin

There are a few things about dealing with stupid people that can really take some of us to a dark place, especially me, but I have a little more patience when it comes to the ignorant and even more when it comes to the retarded.

The problem is some of us are prone to label a stupid person as being ignorant and or retarded.  The truth is, the ignorant are lacking in education and the retarded have some type of mental disability, so that cancels out stupidity.  In other words, they can’t help it.

Stupid people are lacking in knowledge by choice, often refusing to change their outlandish thoughts in the face of the truth.  In most cases, this can easily be corrected if the choice is made to do so.  Instead, the stupid most time makes the decision to be or pretend to be uninformed and or unaware, including those who don’t give a damn.  The sad part is most times its to fight a cause that has no basis except for personal gain and or putting others down.

For those who want to fight us on everything, Webster’s Dictionary explains stupid as dull, foolish, senseless, and lacking meaning or sense: insane or pointless.  It goes on to explain ignorant as lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned, misinformed or just plain old unaware.  And the retarded as having a delay in mental development or progress.  At times I believe it better to be retarded or ignorant than to be stupid.

Bertrand Russell tells us, The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt; and may I add the fact that stupid people are brief and artless, with intelligence that hides inside of them.  In my opinion, that’s stupid, but I will continue to try to help the stupid with what I know, although I feel as though the ignorant need me more because the stupid really don’t care what I think or say.

To say the least, I have issues with stupidity including, Stupid is putting our most important decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

Some of us may try to act as if we don’t know these people, but denying what we do know to be true is really stupid; What can I say other than that’s what stupid people do.  Sooooooooooooo!  To be fair, let’s just acknowledge the fact that most people do stupid things, but if we don’t regret or show some type of remorse for the worse of the stupid things we do, then we are really stupid and on course to remain that way.

We can help ourselves if only we would stop being stupid, stupid and Forgive, but a word to the wise is to never forget.  But more importantly, Stop following stupid people, they are not built for leadership

Now that we know there are all types of stupid, the one that really irks me is when others want to shut the stupid down.  I want to know who they are so I can have a heads up on what they are saying, or enough sense to run like hell if needed… But the worst kind of stupid, in my opinion, is trying to be what society wants you to be instead of being yourself; that is if you’re not a menace to society.  If you’re clean, then I say go for your personal best.

I hate to admit this, but oftentimes I don’t answer questions because some people’s level of ignorance leaves me speechless.  To prove my point, add stubbornness.  Stupidity and stubbornness are obstacles that are almost impossible to overcome as if life isn’t tough enough, but it gets tougher if you’re stubborn and you know it.  That attitude only makes life more complicated for those with intentional stupidity.

Take for instance you know God is Real and Reading is Fundamental, but for you, Books are as useful as a mirror is to a blind person, and God is to be used only as an accessory, with a cosmetic makeup undertone.  Something is wrong and maybe you should take off that clown mask and start believing in something that’s not as stupid as your attitude, and stop changing the wording from something that’s true, just to make it fit some unintelligent outlook without regards to the facts…

To be honest, I have a feeling most stupid people believe in God to a point, (the problem) so once they sign off on something they will stand their ground regardless of a wrong or right position.  It seems as if in their mind, change is just too much, and loyalty is used as an excuse to remain stubborn while defending false information and Pride is at the helm, making it almost impossible to back down.  Grit up your loin and do it anyway.

I don’t know about you but I have always been a leader.  So I say let the stupid be stupid, then maybe I can lead them around using a nose ring.  At lease I would lead them straight to the truth.  ; )

Look, being stupid is one thing but staying stupid sounds like a lot of missed opportunities to me.  If I am as stupid as I know some tend to be, I may have to rethink all the stupid thoughts I know are stupid in order to obtain a better life, but that’s just me, you do you.

FORETHOUGHT AND FOOLS?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each post and sharing is encouraged.

FORETHOUGHT AND FOOLS?

All action results from thoughts, so it is thought that matter.

We are so easily fooled by our own reasoning we often trick ourselves for no reason other than habit, and we have the innate ability to stifle our own thoughts in order let others do the thinking for us, often letting this go on to the point that our own thoughts become obsolete (useless).

Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot (reason), are fools, and those who dare not (reason), are slaves.  Lord Byron

The truth of the matter is, fools are not interested in any of that, including what you say or think.  Some say they are only interested in what you may be trying to hide, but all that can be changed if we use a little-advanced thinking (forethought).

If you didn’t know, you know now that The first essential character (of civilization), I should say, is forethought. This, indeed, is what mainly distinguishes men from brutes and adults from children.  Bertrand Russell

The essentials; are to put in the concern, coupled with educational forethought, wisdom, and prudence to help shape and build the destinies of others as well as ourselves.  Those important traits are essential for a long, healthy, and a complete life, coupled with a necessary system that involves planning with a sense of need and intelligence.

For the record; forethought and prudence are also the qualities of a great leader, but a great leader without Joy may become a huge disappointment, but in any event, there are a few simple things that could make life more rewarding if we were to think ahead.  One of them is Forethought spares afterthought and after sorrow.

I am pretty sure some of you know that there have been some dire consequences forced on some because of a lack of forethought.  For instance: running blindly ahead without consideration; this only invites failure and misunderstandings.

Few things are brought to a successful issue by impetuous desire, but most by calm and prudent forethought.  Thucydides

At some point we have to stop just long enough to think before we react, one small moment of rational thinking may be what avoids turning a small difference of opinion into an unnecessary battle?  And, did you know, giving the benefit of the doubt can save the day?

Perhaps its just me, but it seems as if the people who are motivated by impulse instead of using the thought process are the World’s unhappiest, and the people who have too much forethought, over think everything, coupled with always planning but never getting anything done, oftentimes finding themselves among the wretched; downcast, dejected and sad.  But to have too little forethought is foolish.

FYI: Few things are brought to a successful issue by impetuous desire and a lack of calm and prudent forethought.

Somebody needs to tell somebody else to look and see which way the wind blows before committing themselves to any concern, and remember It’s not how we make mistakes its how we correct them, in hopes that others will understand how important a healthy thought process is, and how it’s used to promote healthy lifestyles through reasoning.

Did you know one of the keys to survival is related to due process?

In today’s world, due process is a fully functioning BRAIN.  Although some think their chain of thoughts are on point, and they may be, but if their hearts and their minds are not paired there is a lot of in-fighting going on in that head.

Being on the same page with yourself is a must because part of the process is to put all things in their proper place, for instance using your brain before your mouth speak, and as usual there are those who are unaware of not knowing; If you don’t know you have a problem how are you going to fix it?

OH! And if you’re wondering if you are a fool, take the test.

Question; Are you able to admit to anything being out of placed or to losing battles because they were not properly thought through?

Answer: If you can not admit to your own shortcoming, there is not much room for growth, coupled with, it’s one thing to lie to me, but to yourself is confusing.

Without forethought, we are either brain-dead or our mind is so out of whack that it can conjure up self-induced unrealistic expectations that are normally based on ideas without structure, and an overwhelming unwillingness to learn from others.  I believe those with negative attitudes when it comes to thinking things through, are afraid to be seen as stupid when in fact they are just afraid they will fail, the very thing that can and will hold us back…
