BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS?

BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS?

Vincent J. Lombardi once said, The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.  Lombardi’s counterpart Bear Bryant added; There is a lot of blood, sweat, and guts between dreams and success.

I bet am not the only that can say Amen to that.

I believe there is a lot said in those motivational quotes, but what was not said was at times success is just the Luck of the Draw, or perhaps we missed our chance because of stupidity or otherworldly setbacks.  You know we are known for getting in our own way; in any event, the #1 Killer of Success is A Lack Of Faith.  But there is another way to win, and it’s simple, all you have to be is that person God and other people want to see succeed.

Nothing is easy, especially success, which also comes with a price and that price is not always rewarded, and oftentimes our best works are not appreciated.  It is what it is.

I believe B.C. Forbes when he said, A man who has done his level best is a success, even though the world may write him down as a failure.  It’s best to keep that in mind for most know, the world is not our friend.

So, if and when we find and dedicated ourselves to becoming a successful person, the work begins with Perseverance, which is needed to stay the course in spite of all the difficulties, and with that strength comes not only endurance, but a resolve that gives us the fighting spirit to withstand all levels of stress coupled with fatigue, pain, and hardships.

It takes a strong person to gain success in this dog eat dog world, so I pray for courage, fortitude and the blessings promised from God, coupled with I know I can’t do it alone.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abide in me, and I in him, the same bring forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  (John 15:5)  In other words, we need to call on The Name of the Lord for Success.

After years of trial and error, I found by putting God first is a sure way to move up the ladder, coupled with prayers.

To my knowledge, Praying is the best way to get God’s attention and that may bring about an array of blessings in which one of them could be the success we have been seeking…  But, there is always a price for that glory, and it is to do unto others, what you would want to be done unto you.

Everything in and out of this world belongs to God, and He has given us an array of earthy perks, but God is still God and he is going to judge us all, so if he chooses to or not to deliver success, may depend on how much we are willing to give in order to gain.

FYI: God gives givers as much as they are willing to give, so if that’s you, you will never run out of things to give, and since you will never run out, you will always have.  It makes sense to me, so I am telling you, the greatest gift you can give is a piece of yourself.  That’s my story and am sticking to it because few things that are gained are not without sacrifices.

But just in case you didn’t know, failure coupled with sacrifices is what success is made of, and perfection is doing something over and over to gain consistency.

We have to have control of ourselves while enduring the worse of the worse, often begging for anything motivational to be said or done to help our cause, while still trying to hold unto enthusiasm for dear life.  It’s a workload but not impossible; if it were impossible, I believe we would have never known success in the first place.

That one small break we are looking for may not be here yet, but we are closer than we were yesterday.  So, pat yourself on the back if you are making wholesome decisions about others, and doing as Jesus would by not stepping on the toes of others while climbing the ladder to success in order to achieve personal desires.

In my opinion, it is better to try and fail than wonder the rest of your life what you could, should, or would have been, so you had better get to work, the clock is ticking.  And instead of defeating ourselves with statements like if only I were a success, dream again, only this time put more effort into making it happen through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, and Savior.

As for me, and some others, am sure some of us has said, although in different forms, I don’t care what’s probable. Through blood, sweat, and tears, I am unstoppable.

It’s Something To Think About!

Thank You, Lord for all you do, and we know all is yours to give.  It is in Jesus name that we pray.   Amen

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE?

YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE?

Don’t cry because it happened, smile because it happened.  Dr. Seuss

From my perspective, as long as I can remember living is hard and life has always been a battle, the thing is most of those battles were not worth the time, the pain, the shame, the language, or the effort coupled with little being resolved.  I suggest we cut the crap and lighten up so as to make the most of our life because no one will get off of this planet alive.

To live is a one time event meaning there are no do-overs, so regardless of how hard some push their bodies to perfection, which is not a bad idea and another subject, oftentimes in an attempt to preserve our youthfulness we sleep in senseless chambers, while others are taking every available over the counter or illegal drug of any form to slow the aging process while hoping to bring back the luster to their sagging skin for the sole purpose of cheating death.

There are plenty of verses in the Bible that tells us death is going to happen, and we won’t know from one minute to the next when it will visit; so make no mistake about it, it will come at its appointed time to each and every creature on Planet Earth.

I know The Gospel is the truth, so I believe James 4:14  (KJV) when he tells us Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow, then goes on to say, What is your life? followed by the answer to its own question.  It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time and then vanishes away.  So making all those I am gonna live longer than dirt plans without first consulting Jesus Christ could be the first step that brings you closer to death.  What I mean is you can be dead tomorrow, if that is His will.

Life is precarious and God has not put us in charge of the future, but He did give us choices in order to live a better and longer life.  Such as, Children obey your parents: for this is right. Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.  Ephesians 6:1-3 KJV   Did you notice the verse stopped short of saying Forever?

Furthermore, it is written in John 15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abides in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.  Well now, to me that means, our plans are nothing without approval.

And yes, that includes breathing, for without it we will die and that’s that.  Now there is hope for an Everlasting Life that can be fruitful; that is if we Obey the Laws of God, assuring us that once is quite enough and that death will lead those who believe and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to that Everlasting Life...

Just to make it simple: Life Goes On Until It Doesn’t, and there is nothing you or I can do about it.  Staying in the house will not save you, it will only make you an unhappy hermit that may die at home, alone.  Exercising can’t save you, walking out of the gym is deadly, you can be hit by a car or die from dehydration.  Maybe there is some unknown virus in the air, you just never know.

Am not trying to spread gloom and doom, am just trying to tell you our lives are in the Hands of our Creator, and the most precious gift He has given us is Breath.  It’s sad to say but some people just exist because they haven’t learned to live; breathing in and out to them is just another routine.

I see no point in waiting for the storm to pass, why not open unmarked doors and new windows instead of spending all your money on products claiming they will help save your life?  Why not take different routes and get rid of outdated plans just to see what God has for you and your body?  Try doing things not knowing how they will turn out, you may find a new talent, and stop looking for yourself in others, you’re in your heart, let that person out to create a new you in the eyes of the world, better yet, in the eyes of Jesus Christ.

For all it’s worth some of us has been dealt a bad hand, but that doesn’t mean we have to focus on it.  Look at life as if it were a song and sing it, when it’s a game, play it while meeting the challenges, and realize all of it is not a dream, some come true but not without sacrifices.

FYI: If you want to live a longer life stop focusing on death, you will get there soon enough and don’t let stumbling blocks liken to hatred stop your progress.  Hate paralyze and confuse our lives, often to the point of no return, but love releases hate and harmonize our lives.

In other words, You Only Live Once, so preoccupy yourself with living life to the fullest, leaving hate on the sidelines to make space for joy.   Like it or not, Death Will Happen and without your permission.   I suggest you enjoy Breathing while you can that other stuff can wait on death.
