TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED!

There is no tomorrow, for no one can see past the moment.  No day is guaranteed.  Go to the now; James 4:13  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.  James 4:14

I am going to make things right, right now because there may not be a tomorrow for me and many of you.  I thrive living in The Now.  Too much living in the past and too much dreaming of the future calls for a balance and right now is as good a time as any to start balancing those scales, getting off the teeter-totter, or whatever it takes to make this the best day ever.

But first, we have to come to the conclusion that We cannot solve our problem with the same thinking we used when we created them. This is exactly why hanging on to the same old same old is a huge problem…  Even the Sun doesn’t rise and set at the same time day after day, why should you?

Now don’t get me wrong, I plan, it’s only natural just like I look to the future, I just know it’s not promised.

Scheduling is a part of our busy world, but that shouldn’t stop us from getting up every day and deciding to change something about ourselves that results in an improvement…  Put down the coffee cup, you’ll have brighter teeth, drink a glass of water, your kidneys we’ll love it even if you don’t, put down the remote and start a conversation.

Don’t live the same day over and over and call that a life. Life is all about evolving mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.  Germany West

Just so you know: Conformity is an action in accord with prevailing social standards, attitude, practices, etc.

FYI: Young men, the ones with their pants hanging down, am not picking on you, it’s just some of you make it easy for me to get my point across because of your style or lack of it.
Be your own man, start your day your way, do not conform with those who make bad decisions, pull those pants all the way up, give others reasons to follow you.  Who said you had to conform to bad ideas, or sloppy dress codes while allowing some fool to rule over you, especially what you wear?

If you really want to conform to something, make it worthwhile, you can start by washing your dirty draws since you’re so keen on everyone seeing them.  Just Saying?  Plus, I don’t know what the message is in that display; a brotherhood thing maybe?  What I do know is Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth.

Don’t get me wrong we need Conformity, that’s a good thing and a way of life, but conforming to having your butt hanging out in public is the sign of an immaturity.  A bad choice with an easier fix.

Diversity is the gift of variety; who can be a better me than me?  Be Creative, and don’t live life with carry-ons such as jealousy, coupled with a dull spirit.

We have to get something else going on besides the same old same old as if it’s Groundhog Day.  How can we avoid Groundhog Day?  Good Question.  It’s simple, Change an old habit for a new way.

We grow by learning new things and going to new places, it’s what keeps us alert and ready to grow into tomorrow.  What makes us different is some of us has leadership ability and know how to use it.  For instance; the Bad Boys who started the pants down to your knee’s movement are now wearing suits.

Take a hint from them and pull those pants up, put down that bottle, take a bath, whatever your daily routine is change something for the better, if not it becomes a habit, not an asset.  You only have one day, tomorrow may or may not come for you, me or the rest of the world.  NUKES.

Be a leader: Leaders are the creators of their life.  Followers let life happen to them.

I believe every time I learn something it’s a gift especially created for me to change something in order to change my life by adding valuable information, making that knowledge a new tool to sharpening what I already have.

After we master change for the better, share and enjoy it with others while being at peace and full of confidence with an energy level that has been replenished.  When we master change we are calmer and feel secure enough to be free in spirit and complete with having a voice.

What’s wrong with that?  I say nothing, but Tomorrow is not promised.

A SIMPLE CHANGE!

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each page and sharing is encouraged.

A SIMPLE CHANGE?

He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery.  Harold Wilson

A simple change in our thought process can lead to a change in life, but first, we have to stop seeing ourselves as victims.  Life is going to happen until we stop breathing.

Curiosity ought to have us asking questions like; How can we know what we are capable of if we never embrace the unknown?

I suggest we hone in where we may be able to make a difference, even if it does require change; it’s simple and it’s necessary because Change is the end result of all true learning..but most times all it takes is, One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher to change the world.  Malala Yousafzai

It’s amazing to me how easy things can change because of that One gesture by one person, in a moment of time.

With knowledge and understanding of that knowledge, we begin to realize The creative process is a process of surrender, not control, (Julia Cameron) so it all really depends on how we respond to life events.  An action is needed and it’s your choice.  But without a doubt doing nothing will be your downfall.  The world waits for no one stuck in a rut or wasting time.

Some like waddling in the muck while waiting for someone else to make a difference.  Barack Obama said it, and we should have known it long before he brought it to our attention:  A change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the one we’ve been waiting for. We are the change we seek.

Having to change can be painful; the thing is almost everything else is painful too; growth, disappointment, ingrown toenails, ect., but not as painful as staying stuck in any situation we do not belong, using excuses for why we stay such as, time changes things, but in truth, you actually have to change them for yourself.

I am warning you, there is no hope of any change if you can’t change your mind, and if that’s the case it’s worse, you won’t be able to change anything, especially your progress.  For all its worth, selfishness and a mean-spirit will keep us in a rut and things will never get any better.

Think about it, having an un-willing heart could have a direct relationship with an unwillingness to forgive others and blaming all for your shortcomings.  I’ll never forgive them, is not what God is about or you, and it’s just plain stupid if you are continually hurting yourself rather than change your heart.

Forgiving others and making changes to our life and lifestyle are the type of actions that bodes well for our future.  But, if we choose to adopt negative perspectives we will fail.  It’s best we master our own mind first and then adopt positive actions in order to move forward; Just be aware of the fact that the mind is the foundation of all our action, whatever we say or do comes from it.

But, did you know with Jesus Christ in our lives, we can override the mind and use the Heart, where the Spirit Lives?

When we let Jesus into our hearts, Psalms 37:4 KJV tells us the LORD will give us the desires of our heart, and when we have the desire to change for the better it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 KJV; A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit I will put into you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

Because of those types of teaching and what I have endured makes me a  Living Witness to the Goodness and the Mercy of God, and that has forever changed me.

The day is what you make it, being miserable is a habit.

I know we can’t change some situations but we can change our attitude to fix certain trouble spots because each problem has hidden opportunities, and turning towards optimism usually allows for our best to evolve.  And I know, positive thinking doesn’t always work, but, negative thinking unfortunately almost always don’t.  (Gary Mack)

Just like nothing can come from an apple tree but apples, good thoughts coupled with a good heart almost never produce bad fruit., and it is a well-known fact that a man often becomes what he believes, so be careful of those who would put pressure on you to do an injustice.  I am telling you if you consider or intend to do that unjustifiable evil thing, it was already in your heart; your weakness and inability to change brought it out of you.

Therefore you may need to call on the Name of the Lord.
