YOU’RE NOT LUCKY, YOU’RE BLESSED!

YOU’RE NOT LUCKY, YOU’RE BLESSED!

The dictionary tells us Luck happens without regard to one’s will, intention, or desired results.  That definition sounds like The Grace of God to me, from whom all blessing flow, plus we can’t do anything without him.  (John 15:5 KJV)

I believe What is for you is for you, and as far as Luck is concerned, I believe it’s never Luck or Fate that will Bless you, it’s God and He has given us a wonderful opportunity for whatever.  The thing is, we have to be prepared to act on it.

Often those who choose not to believe in The Spirit, believe everything is a matter of The Luck of the draw.  I call it corruption, because in most cases, in order to get where we want to go it has to be done off the backs of others in this ever-changing World that represent so much injustice.

Listen up, the World may be ever-changing but Jesus Christ remains the same.

It took me years to come to terms about there is nothing unusual about the usual; it’s always something, and that something usually is the Devil, coupled with all we need is just a little luck.  That statement has opened a lot of doors to The Gates of Hell.  We know Satan is trolling for the weak who are depending on Luck to get them through.  Horse races, Vegas, etc.

Nowadays, we had better be willing to take a risk and some unusual steps or we’ll just have to settle for the ordinary, which is leaning to our own understanding.  Most know that is a bad idea and the Bible talks about it being one.  Read it here: Proverbs 3:5 KJV

I have been in situations where Luck wasn’t what I needed; I was in need of something bigger, like Favor from God in the form of Grace.  But, still knowing where our help comes from, often we will still choose luck.  Not me, I choose Jesus Christ while others claim they don’t need Him; they say they have all the luck in the world.  Well, we will see about that, but, with all that luck, I wonder why some are still complaining about everything.

For instance, a friend and I were listening to music when they claimed they were unlucky because they were born without rhythm.  My eyes just rolled back in my head as I smiled because I know if you have a heartbeat you have plenty of rhythms, whether they are irregular, fast or slow, it’s keeping a beat by the Grace of God, not Luck or a one-hit wonder.

That’s just another reason to think before you speak.

I learned the hard way that I am no different from the masses; There was a time when I thought I was the luckiest person in the world too, but as it turned out, I wasn’t as lucky as I thought when I was diagnosed with 3rd Stage Breast Cancer.  This could have been an unlucky side effect of putting my faith in luck, instead of God.

It didn’t take long when I was battling cancer to know luck couldn’t sustain me.  So I strengthen my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and let go of that unhealthy relationship I had with luck.  See, through prior Christian Education, I knew I had access to The Highest Power there is, not some chance at the Poker Table of Life.  If you know Jesus Christ and he you, you know what am talking about.

No matter the opinions of others, I know one thing that is for sure, and that thing is, it wasn’t luck that saved my life.  It was God’s Grace, and that was all I needed.  Did you know The only good luck many great men ever had was being born with the ability and determination to overcome bad luck?

What is for you come from God, not something we did or luck.  Shallow men believe in luck, strong men believe in cause and effect.  As for me, I am trying to get you to understand luck to be Blessings from God, that works best when coupled with preparation and taking advantage of those opportunities while using good strategy and Prayer

Knowledge, not luck, is a powerful tool wherever you get it from, and if it was not for knowledge, I wouldn’t be writing this Testimony.  I may think myself lucky at times but what I know is Am truly blessed.

You’re Not Lucky, You’re Blessed too, and that’s Something To Think About!

To God Be The Glory!

AM DONE WITH RESOLUTIONS!

AM DONE WITH RESOLUTIONS!

New year. New feels. New breathe. New chances. Same dreams, fresh starts. I dare you to believe in yourself. You deserve all things magic.  Feliz Ano-Novo

Happy New Year to you all, but I just want you to know that Am Done With Resolutions, I think.  Anyway, from now on instead of making unrealistic demands on myself, paired a bunch of promises I can’t keep, I plan to make some changes starting with putting in more than an effort to make a better life for myself and to stop making promises only God can deliver.

At the beginning of each New Year, most make Resolutions with the hope of improving their lives.  That makes sense to me because the New Year is like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written; the bonus is we have 365 new days and nights, coupled with 365 new chances to write that book.  It won’t be as easy as it sounds, especially if you’re still in love with your comfort zone; if so nothing will change.

Let’s all begin the New Year with thanksgiving in our hearts by starting each day with gratitude.  Let us quit lying to ourselves about the Amma-Gonna’s and create more meaningful connections.  Let us choose to be happy as we focus and meditate on the positive, then believe it all will fall into place.

Let us stick to our goals and Know We can do nothing without God.  John 15:5  KJV   NOTHING!

Yep, from this day forward, Am Done With Resolutions, I’ll be Praying.  YOU?

Dear God, in the name of Jesus I pray to demonstrate in the years to come a healthy respect for the opinions of others while cultivating a stronger connections with You and my peers, to have the presence of mind to know I would be better off walking alone than with a big crowd going in the wrong direction.  Amen!

It’s Something To Think About!

Happy New Year and To God Be The Glory!
