BUMP THAT, BE YOURSELF!

I am a firm believer that our focus determines our reality, and fresh ideas are needed because old ways will not open new doors, so I try to stave off any distractions, knowing if I don’t I may not realize my purpose.

It has been said if life was written in the form of a test most would fail if peeking on someone else paper for answers.  This makes sense to me because common sense tells me everyone would have different questions because everyone‘s life is unique only to them.

You are original; besides, we should learn from our competitors not emulate them.  Bump trying to be someone we’re not.  This is unnatural to our personal DNA; which happens to make us who we are.  Having the inability to be true to ourselves will create unnecessary problems and help to stop us from being who God made us to be…Being confident in yourself is one ingredient needed to meet that goal.

This glorious process called life screams for attention, and it certainly is a journey to be explored one day at a time.  But, in order for us to get a firm grip on who we are, Eleanor Roosevelt tells us: The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences. 

Eleanor hit the nail on the head but, the clock is ticking, so in reality I would dig a little deeper and take into consideration; Today is the only day we have, so live it like you never have before, because you haven’t, and live it like you never will again because you never will.

Today is your day no matter if you are stupid, dumb, funny or wise, be whoever you are while listening to your heart.  Don’t allow the world to define you.  Here is a little food for thought; You cannot change who you are, only what you do.  Phillip Pullman  Simply put, you don’t have to act like that (a pain in the asset).

Did anyone suggest to you or flat-out tell you-you had to fit in or look a certain way to be accepted?  If so, I am here to tell you that’s not true.  Frankly, that sounds as if someone is saying, I want to clone you into a mini-me.

You doing you according to the Will of God makes you one of the most sought after I want to be just like you persons on the planet.  God already has a plan that includes you being who He made you to be.  Your part is to Praise his name and follow his Commandments.  If you choose to do so, you will find there’s a no better you or place to be, which is another good reason to never stop being yourself.

FYI: Just in case you haven’t noticed; Everyone else has been taken anyway. 

You are a strong and creative person, let no one pressure you into this or that, but, before you make any decisions it’s best to have a Clean Heart.  Just know, What will come out is already there.  Some call it a slip of the tongue, I call it a slip of the Truth by the tongue.  It seems as if as hard as we may try we just can’t hide from ourselves. 

And keep in mind that being a creative you is not as hard as it seems.  The difficulty in being creative lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping the old ones.  John Maynard Keynes.   Perhaps we were built for change; how else can we proceed? 

The day is what we make it, and since we’re still talking about Bump That, Be Yourself, let me double-down on some truths.

It’s okay to be influenced by others just don’t steal their work, and get over those who choose to imitate your style, they are wishing they were just like you.  (I consider imitating me as undercover compliments.)  On top of that, they can never imitate your creativity.  

When it all boils down, whatever way we see ourselves, most still want to look good in their pictures, but hiding within the snapshot is one of the worst things we can do to ourselves.  Without knowing or defining who we are to ourselves make it almost impossible to peak in life.

In fact, Not knowing who we are as individuals, burdens us with low self-esteem and the ability to have proud moments.  So there is no advantage to playing someone else role in life, Bump That, Be Yourself and enjoy the Blessings God saturated only unto you, at birth. 

Just so you know, one way to be the best you, is to take a close look at those you instantly want to avoid..
