IT WASN’T MEANT TO BE?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each post, and sharing is encouraged.

IT WASN’T MEANT TO BE?

From personal experiences, I have come to realize when a door closes, 99.9% of the time It wasn’t meant to stay open.

Every vision will not see the light and every goal will not be fulfilled, often they serve only as rungs up the ladder to success.  For instance, take the caterpillar; What the caterpillar calls the end the world The Master call a butterfly.  Richard Bach.

Somethings happen for a reason and we never know what’s in store until God bring what is Meant To Be to the present.  I knew thee before I formed thee in the womb.  Jeremiah 1:5 KJV

Everything has its time and place.  For those who read me on a regular basis know, I am a firm believer in what is for you is for you, and it will align itself perfectly with the Will of God for those who Believe.

With God in control, there is no reason to be afraid to lose what wasn’t meant to be.  First of all, if it wasn’t meant to be, it was never yours to lose.

Most want to be loved and appreciated, and I know how hard it can be when a loved one walk away while your pride, suffer.  Maybe the object of your desire knew what was between the two of you wasn’t going to last.  Proving once again we are not always on the receiving end of what we want no matter how much we love or finagle (cheat, trick, and lie) our way to keep it.

Satan is constantly testing us, so we have to make common sense decisions that acknowledge What Is, opposed to what we want something to be.  This could be the crossroads for some, so stay diligent, the Devil uses our desires to destroy the truth as we know it.

Deep down in our heart where the Spirit Lives, we may know the truth but don’t want to admit not everyone’s intentions line up with our own.  Once we realize life is not only a personal journey that searches for love and happiness, it’s also A Crusade for Jesus Christ, then we can get our priories in order.

You can do nothing without me.  John 15:5

There have been plenty of times I have or had too squashed my desires and stepped out, although I was hurt, I still had confident in who I am.  Let’s make this clear, I don’t want anything or anybody that doesn’t want me.  And I try to never make decisions that take me outside of my beliefs for the sake of aligning myself with others because of fear, lust or the sake of just fitting in.

I Trust God, so in my opinion, if It’s Not Meant To Be, It Won’t Happen.  With Jesus Christ, I’ll do all I can to stand fearlessly through Faith.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power; and of love; and of a sound mind.  2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

It’s up to each of us to accept the Bible at its word, just be aware of the fact that there is no such thing as believing only the parts that suit us best.  That’s our choice, but it all boils down to It’s the Whole Bible or Nothing.

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”  John 20:20

I know it’s hard to break from what we know and think is best for us, but if we put anyone or anything before God, including our family, we can become Godless.  There shall be No Other Gods Before Me; The First Commandment, and there are heavy consequences when we don’t put God first, like finding ourselves under the Influence of Satan and whatever comes with it.

The lovelorn call their feelings a Crush, perhaps that’s the problem.  If what you are feeling was meant to be, fate would have made it happen, not us pushing for it.  If we obey God, and it is his will, he will give us the desires of our heart.  A crush is a force that destroys or deform, it squeezes the life out of…

It’s just my opinion but if a loved one can just walk away from you, perhaps they never intended to stay, and it is also of my opinion, if a loved one cheated, among other things, (abuse, etc.) they may have confirmed the relationship Wasn’t meant to be.

When we let go, we become who God made us be, we don’t need a crutch to be all that and more.  We need to get back on track so when that awakening occurs we can accept rejection for what it is Rejection.   Some try too hard to make ourselves out to be perfect, even to the point we may conjure up fiction.

If your desires go that far to the left, It Wasn’t Meant To Be.  That phase is one of the Greatest truths every told and it is one of the Greatest excuses ever used.  You can believe, it is what it is if it is from God, but if it is from the Devil, you can believe it’s not what you think.

THEY SAY, YOU SAY, I SAY…?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each post, sharing and hitting the like button are encouraged.

THEY SAY, YOU SAY, I SAY…?

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but I say ignorance is worse.

Some people say I talk too much, but they never say what I said was useless or untrue.  When I do shut up, that same subject can turn into an ongoing conversation and my words are overlooked as if I wasn’t even in the room.

I like to hear about the experiences of others, and when it’s my turn to know what I know, I would like to be heard also, especially when I know, someone does not know what they are talking about.  A pet peeve for me.

Some may prefer second-hand information, I guarantee you I am not one of them, give it to me straight out of the mouth of the one in the know. (A witness or it happen to them)

People who cannot invent and reinvent themselves must be content with borrowed postures, secondhand ideas, fitting in instead of standing out.  Warren Bennis

Whoa, let’s stop right here, who is They anyway?   In my opinion, They are the ones with all the second-hand answers from Gossip and claim the news to be GospelThey are the followers but don’t tell them that.

Let’s make this clear, I feel as if we are constantly being criticized for reason’s unknown and judged by judges with no guidelines outside of what someone else has told themEven the worldly people; the ones who never left the block are offering up what they call knowledge, too bad it’s from unreliable sources.  Perhaps the news was heard on the streets, etc…

We change when we think we have the floor, (being seen) and if we don’t know what we’re talking about so be it as long as we believe we are the only ones that Know it All. (Everyone else is a fool)  If it sounds good and makes us feel and look good, we’re all in, even if we are completely ignorant of the subject line.

They say, he say, she says people, are all a part of life, coupled with those who believe the things pulled right out of nowhere.  Well no matter what they say, God said; I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abide in me, and I in him, the same bring forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.  James 15:5  (KJV)

And of course, there are those who say they will never change no matter what, even when God has spoken.  Okay, if you say so, but I say that’s your choice, and I would also say, Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God.  Matthew 4:7

We need to make the necessary steps towards leaving the They Sayer’s where we find them, while continually seeking godly ways.  We need to develop confidence and faith while removing ourselves from those who would try to change our heart with the foul information they received from someone else.  You know the drill, if this is not you, don’t claim it.

I say, don’t allow those devils and deviletts to fill your head with what others have to say instead of using your own ability to figure things out or get it from a reliable source.

Did anybody ever tell you we don’t need to hear from every Tom Dick and Harry that show up in our lives?  We learn more from rejection and failure than we do from acceptance and success.  So be advised, there is a difference between rejection and failure, so in order to gain success and achieve our purpose, the two need to be separated.

I say, Rejection is not approved of, which is a people problem, and I say, Failure is to be unsuccessful, which is a personal problem.

In either situation, they say there are no short-cuts; I beg to differ.  If you know Jesus Christ and he knows you, and if it is in his will coupled with you being obedient him, it wouldn’t matter what They Say and Life couldn’t  be any sweeter.

Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (KJV) Psalms 37:4

Let Jesus Christ be your catapult to make the necessary step towards your goals coupled with His plans for your life, not what They Say.

A smart person know, we cannot command someone else heart, only our own.  So get yourself together so you can deliver what was spoken into your heart, not what They Say, then all you have to do is use your connection that comes from above.

OLD PEOPLE AND OTHER STUFF?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each post and sharing is encouraged.

OLD PEOPLE AND OTHER STUFF?

Old people, you’re my people now, and I don’t mind because I have lived long enough to Join The Club; Thank you, Jesus.

Young people, just so you know, Don’t tease old folks, they may have one hell of a bite left.  Plus I agree with Leroy “Satchel” Paige when he said, Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don’t mind it doesn’t matter.

The point is to never underestimate someone because of age, and if you’re smart you will take that advice and apply it to everyone.  Regardless of the age, It promotes growth.

As you probably already know the World is overrun with Old People, (I prefer Baby Boomers) and our opinions are broad, to say the least.  Millions of us went from a #2 pencil to the Cloud.

This is a strong position to be in that calls for Humility.  Humility is the solid foundation of all virtues.  Confucius

It has come to my attention, some seniors think their age makes them scholars; All-seeing and All-knowing.  If you are a senior and feel this way about yourself, I want to remind you like aging, learning never stops until we are dead.  With our knowledge, it’s okay to encourage others as long as we are humble, credible, and what we have to share, is of God.

I found aging to be an adventure; an adventure that allows time for us to explore how to truly live a God-Filled Live.  And now that I have experienced a variety of what life has to offer, age is my antidote and a cure for my anxieties; I no longer have as many spells of insecurities when things are not going my way.   🙂

The process of maturing is meant to be an eye-opener for us to become aware of ourselves.  Some of us started out drawing growth lines on our childhood hall walls or tagged as always asking too many questions; which is a good thing.

With the passing of time, some seniors now feel comfortable enough to confess to the fact that listening didn’t come as easy as some claimed.  It was trial and error; butt whippings, etc… With growth, we put on our listening ears and remembering eyes, causing the rivers of wisdom to flow, which really had nothing to do with us; It was all because of a ticking clock that ultimately led to Experience.

Some seniors with all their knowledge only want to be heard.  Quit wasting time playing god, how are you going to escalate your value in order to educate those who are willing to listen if we never shut up?

I heard a good swift kick in the assets still works for the old and young alike.  So some things never change; A hard head still makes for a soft behind.

For the other stuff,  I want you all to know, I am human too; even I can get on my nerves.  For some reason, it seems as if most of the god-fearing seniors, I know, can pray a dinner cold in and out of the Church.

Just so you know, if you pray an overly long prayer, my mind may wander, but You do You, (11/03/2016) it’s only my opinion, that’s why I do me by picking up the Bible to look for answers.  If any lack wisdom, you should ask God; James 1:5

One Sunday, after hearing what I thought was a never-ending prayer, I decided to look for any information that concerned long prayers.  Ellen G. White said;

Ministers should not pray so loud, and long, as to exhaust the strength. It is not necessary to wear out the throat and lungs in prayer. God’s ear is ever open to hear the heartfelt petitions of his humble servants, and he does not require them to wear out the organs of speech in addressing him.

Well, I was happy to read someone else shared my opinion, but it was an opinion.  I found the Bible did not talk directly about the length of prayer, but it did give an answer concerning how to pray, that in my opinion was satisfying.  (common sense)  And to be fair, some would call my opinion reading between the lines; I like to think I understand, because of experience.   🙂

What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing praise with my mind also.   1st Corinthians 14:15   I feel better.

Seniors while we are venting like I just did, don’t forget we must fulfill our destiny, and in part, what we are looking for and what others may need, could be found in the power of our words, so be sure to use them in a manner that they will seek truth, love, and healing.

God always opens new doors, regardless of age, so before the last door is opened unto me, I welcome the Responsibility to inspire before I expire?

In my old age, I want to be trusted and have the ability to Go To God In Prayer for someone else and be Heard.

I want to be somebody’s favorite hiding place, the place they can put everything they know to survive, every secret, every solitude, every nervous prayer and I will be absolutely certain to keep it.  I will keep it safe.

The author is unknown to me, but I want to be that person, the person God wanted me to be before My End.  Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of one of his saints.  Psalms 116:15

GREED IS NOT THE ISSUE?

Contacts can be found at the end of each post sharing is encouraged and so is liking this post.

GREED IS NOT THE ISSUE?

The Romans, although they were brutal, were smart in more ways than just waging war for territory, they knew how to entertain the public.  The Romans knew the idle masses of poor people were dangerous so they used Bread and Clowns; what we call Food and Entertainment to keep the people distracted.

The unsavory lifestyle of the Romans was usually held day and night in a Coliseum, although it may have been exciting in the eyes of those who were safe, the poor didn’t see it that way, so most times they went home and to bed at dusk because they couldn’t afford to burn their oil lamps, among other things.   🙂

Nevertheless, the disenfranchised were not out creating problems because the Romans offered affordable moments of joy, at lease enough to keep the people from protesting the majority of the time.

Now don’t get it twisted, The Blood Thirsty Romans hunted people too and often used them for the day’s entertainment.  My point is, there is something in some of their tactics that may be useful today like not trying to Squeeze Blood Out of a Rock.

For the record, I am not talking about War and Peace of days gone by, although some battles were waged for good reasons.  I am talking about the Wars created mostly out of Greed, Anger, and Delusions, coupled with the lack of bare essentials, and boredom.

With the New Norm, today it seems as if paying Caesar is more important than feeding the children or paying the rent in order to keep a roof over their heads.  Good business Gives Back opposed to taking, and claiming the unfortunate are lazy and uneducated.

Instead of creating solutions, quite a few of the Got it All’s, create more problems by arranging more funds to come forth, in their favor, funds we don’t have in the form of credit.  WHEW!  Now we owe for something we never had.  “How Stupid Is That?”  And the worse part is the Greedy Bullied Us into this situation.

Everyone wasn’t born with ready-made opportunities in their pocket, not to forget, there were some whose treasure was lost or stolen, proving to me that all is not black and white when Greed rules the day.  FYI: The greedy take the greedy down too.

I believe when people have more than they need and crave yet more, they change in their Spirit and Greed Is No Longer An Issue, it becomes a Condition of the Heart, Void of God and a sign of Ignorance.  If this is not you don’t take it personally, but The ignorant mind, with its infinite afflictions, passions, and evils, is rooted in the three poisons.  Greed, Anger, and Delusion.  Bodhidharma

Those three components standing alone are powerful motivators to the corrupt but combined they are devastating beyond words, and never should be visited upon any living soul.  Get Behind Me Satan!

Greed is a bottomless pit that can never be satisfied no matter how intense the effort.  It is not of God!  Make no mistake about it, Greed is a delusion of superiority, and it harbors hostility towards others that can lead to the corruption of a free society.

Anger is a self-destructive (killing your own self-machine) that punishes; always leaving us less than what we were.  Don’t be a fool by giving full vent, (screaming and hollering in a rage).  Be wise and control of your feeling toward the ones who anger you, don’t allow others to have power over you, in or out of your right mind.

OH!  What is our right mind, for me it’s when God is in Control?  Let the voices of intelligence come roaring forth in order to silence rage.

Delusion is a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with facts.  Some say a person that is delusional is just crazy (not all of them).  That type of thinking is exactly why people need to be educated so they can make intelligent moral choices.  Gary L. Francione.

It’s sad, but when people don’t understand, they prefer to live in an illusion just to feel better.

To sum it all up, with all our problems we allow things like Greed to consume us, and when it does, we still can’t get enough so we push ourselves while the battle for more turns into Anger, causing us to lose control, and as we all know, when angry, we are subject to Delusional thoughts, so no matter how wrong something is, We still resist what’s right.

The truth is if we don’t soon get it right; Live and let Live, while fulfilling our own dreams, there will be no middle.  The middle is that Dash between Life and Death. (1999-20??)   In my defense there are only two choices to be made; Do unto others as you would have done unto you Between the Dashes, and taking God at His word.

There is a lot of Righteous Living to do in the middle where it counts, all because, in the end, All are from dust and all return to dust. (NKJV)  Ecclesiastes 3:20

You had better believe it, and for the non-believers, you need no convincing, you know the dead return to the dust from your own experiences.  God is Good and he has all the plans from The Beginning to End, so in the meantime, I will do my best to avoid Greed, Anger, and from becoming Delusional through Faith, my Faith in Jesus Christ.  YOU?

It’s Something To Think About!

To God Be The Glory, thank you, Lord.  It is in the name of Jesus that we pray for a long and productive life.  Amen!

HOLES THAT BURY US ALIVE?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each, feel free to push the like button, and sharing is encouraged.

HOLES THAT BURY US ALIVE?

We are buried beneath the weight of information, which is being confused with knowledge; quantity is being confused with abundance and wealth with happiness.  Tom Waits

Digging people holes, pot holes, construction holes, grave-digging holes, any hole is probably the only job you will ever start at the top unless you are the owner, and just so you know, Only he that has traveled the road knows where the holes are deep, coupled with, For every exit, there is an entrance somewhere else.

There are all types of holes, and some of them are so deep they are suffocating the very life out of some as if they are Buried Alive.  Some people die at 25 and aren’t buried until 75.  Benjamin Franklin    But there is one hole I attempt to stay abreast of…  Do not trust your memory.  It is full of holes; the most beautiful prizes slip through it.  George Duhamel

Have you ever noticed the ones with the money, am not talking about the Super Rich, am talking about the people we know, and mutual friends we happen to share with others seemly have all the luck when it comes to finances?  And have you ever noticed most times they are not satisfied with what they have been given, always wanting more coupled with an unwillingness to share a morsel?

If you have, it seems as if they have larger than life troubles?  That money has of way of going out the door faster than anyone (family, etc.) can enjoy a dime.  Often we can hear them crying out, If it’s not one thing it’s another.  Ever wonder why, if so maybe we should Consider Our Ways.

You looked for much (harvest), and behold, it came to little; and even when you brought that home, I blew it away.  Why? says the Lord of the host.  Because of My house, which lies in waste while yourselves run each man to own house (eager to build).  Haggai 1:9  KJV

All am saying is; if you don’t want to be burdened with heavy losses, unhappiness, etc., once your ship has come in, Praise God, build up his house, and give Him all the Glory.   If we choose to not give back Beware of the penalties; There is a real risk of losing what we have or being unhappy with what we have, and it will be considered a waste.  No Substance to speak of.

Most of my life I have been aware of those with less than me, and I have discovered most have one thing in common; They are righteous and their bills are being paid by The Grace of God, it seems as if Pennies From Heaven really does exist.  God said he can do things men can’t, so it never fails to amaze me that these blessings seemly come from nowhere I know of; Found money from the land of Who Knows, plus it’s always on time.  I believe their blessings are a direct result of Luke 6:38  KJV

Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For the same measure that ye mete withal, it shall be measured to you again.

Don’t let God declare a drought on your life because of selfish hoarding, and Not Giving All The Praise To God; these are major holes that need to be filled but know, they are not the only holes.

Everything belongs to God, and all things were created by his power.  Hebrew 2:10  (Contemporary English Version)  So there is nothing of yours to keep.  Go ahead, try to take Caesar’s money to heaven.

Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.   Acts 8:20

Some were born to suffer, perhaps that’s where their blessings lie; I believe there is an advantage to teaching from experience, less guest work.  Some say others fell into a hole, (bad luck, mismanagement) whatever the case, in order to get out of that rut depend on you finding your purpose if suffering is your educator.

If we can find it in our heart to share, maybe we won’t have so many blow-outs every time we get a new set of Michelin’s, (failures).  Don’t let all we touch be impaired by the Nature of our Spirit creating Holes In Our Pockets for disobedience toward not Honoring God and obeying His Will.

I rely on my Faith in Jesus Christ to hold me down, what about you?  Don’t get it twisted, I didn’t say do nothing, it would be foolish not to prepare for the unexpected, but acquiring a pocket full of holes is utter devastation; A Hell of a punishment for not sharing.

The choice is yours, so are the results.  It’s Something To Think About!

To God Be The Glory!  It is in the name of Jesus that we pray.
