GET OFF ME CRAB!

Get off of me crab, not only do we know who you are by your actions, we know we rise by lifting others up.  It’s simple, a crab-like mentally is a form of failure, just like A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.  Proverbs 18:7 (KJV)

He or she who has a crab-like mentality has a type of affliction that causes them to commit to not allowing others to get out of a situation or get ahead. They are selfish and short-sighted thinkers and the ones who believe If I can’t have it, neither can you.

Search your soul and if the shoe doesn’t fit don’t fret, but if you have a crab-like mentality that can mean several things and none of them are good.

Most say they would like to see their friends get ahead, but not too far ahead is what they don’t say.  What’s important to know is, we have an advantage over the people who try to bring us down and that’s, they are already beneath us because of Jesus Christ.

If you listen carefully to what he says (God) and do all that I say, (Jesus Christ) I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.  Exodus 23:22

When it comes to interfering with the capability of others coupled with what, when and how they do things that don’t concern us can often be our biggest downfall.  Most times when people do things the rest of us do not understand or can’t substantiate leaning to our own brand of reasoning we feel as if we have the right to interfere. 

Perhaps we are not to know.  Who said all information is good information?  When dealing with others the odds may not be in our favor especially when we try to manipulate someone else life.  Perhaps we should take into consideration some others business or life can create problems not meant for us? 

Stay in your life.  The Blog post Mind Your Own Business speak about this very thing.  (Posted 06/22/2024 )  So, Get Off Me Crab!  I can barely handle my life with its shortcomings ever-present, let alone someone else; Who has time for that?

The one’s destined to fail, it seems as if they do their best to make sure others fail.

Crabbers will work overtime to achieve the worst possible outcome for their peers, all because of their own inability to do what’s best for themselves.  (For my opinion on this subject read You Do You! 11/03/2016)

Oh!  Did I mention you could lose your life if it’s delegated to pushing others down instead of working on pulling you up?  But, if you prefer to push down opposed to pulling up I sincerely pray you Survive what you have sown.

Spending our time hoping to upset someone else balance or just nosy, throws us off of center.  We don’t have time for our own success when we are too busy trying to manipulate the non-success of others.   I just want to know who died and made them crabbers God?

Some actually believe we should all suffer the same as they; What’s good for the goose is good for the gander is their idea of fairness.  You spit on the sidewalk and they kill somebody over money.   All sin may be the same but, I don’t believe the punishment is.

God will judge according to works.  Romans 2:6-11  (NIV)

I have known people all my life who are Crabbers, and they carry an attitude that has spiraled out of control when it comes to the success of others.  Perhaps it’s all they know because of their environment.  Sometimes a whole community can be affected by the UN-educated and the jealous, making me a firm believer in We are only as good as our teachers.

We need to be keen on listening and learning from those outside of our zip code.  It’s imperative to venture into the world and the minds of others in order to discover there is more than one way to approach life than stepping on the toes of others.  The very reason for norvielcherry.com; To share what we know, and believe to true.

 The World is larger than the city, the county, the state and the Continent we live on, not that small speck of concrete we call home.  It’s not okay to be smart in the radius of a few square miles, it would be better to be unlimited, or as close as possible, so getting out of that Crab Bucket is a must.

Some of us were taught to be crabbers.  “I Am your mother your wife can wait,” is a good example; they think only of themselves at your cost.  Thank God unacceptable behavior can be reversed if one is given information the right opportunity, the desire, and the willingness to commit.

Our life is our own, and what we do with it is entirely up to us.  The thing is, Crabbers exercise their rights over the rights of others.  They don’t seem to understand all that grabbing and pulling is not necessary; Under the Laws of God, we are all entitled.  What is for me is for me.

Those who make it out of the crab bucket, don’t just look down at those still trying to pull themselves up, it’s your responsibility to help, or you may find it lonely on the top.  So let’s not get the Big Head along the way to get where we probably shouldn’t be going in the first place.

The Word of God said; Do not gloat when your enemy falls, when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice.  Proverbs 24:17  KJV

So, if in the event you find yourself working towards pulling others down, and wondering why you are unable to lift yourself up, more than likely you have a crab-like mentality.  But we all have our faults so what we need is a desire to help; you know, be supportive of one another.

Now when someone is trying to pull me down am going to give them an uplifting conversation.  I heard; A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success?
