IS MONEY OUR GOD?
Is Money Our God? If so, it is the #1 cause of our woe’s, and on top of that, it now has found renewed strength in Technology; A money-making god that is good at sucking the life out of those that don’t want change, especially if it has anything to do with learning new ways. Staying Old School can be expensive, a stamp cost as much as a therm of natural gas.
It’s the New stuff that keeps us young and our brains fresh, the problem is the way some are using all this amazing information.
First, let’s set the record straight; Man cannot serve two masters: for either he will hate one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon. (money) Matthew 6:24 KJV
The laws of progress demand change. There was a time when the air was clean and sex was dirty, not anymore. There is no changing reality, but we can change how we view it.
With the onslaught of information arriving at the speed of light; thanks to the World Wide Web we
have to adjust faster than we ever thought possible, while still holding on to our principles. Cyber Space is flooding every walk of our lives and is nothing less than overwhelming, and it’s all at the tip of our fingers.
Fingers that can tap out information that at times is more harmful than good. These new advances peek so far into our personal information our children on a playground in another state can be detected by the unsavory through technology. These days we can sit in front of our Personal Computers and create havoc all over the World with a stroke from a $15 keyboard.
I suspect the more we know, the more we are influenced to seek The Dark Side.
For me, it feels as if we are all in The Garden of Eden and the Tree of Knowledge is ever so tempting, but we must not eat from it. That is almost impossible in today’s time without spiritual strength. Still, we have a choice to make because all information is not bad information, so we just have to guard our mind on what we take in.
We must remain unchangeable when it comes to our Morals, for the laws passed down since the days of Moses are unchangeable. By choosing right over wrong, seeking the light over darkness we will find our Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it springs the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 KJV
It’s never a good time to sit back and relax because every time we think we have figured life out something comes along to change it. Besides all the new inventions and strategies, some of us have become lazier than ever, plus we are readily ingesting the next great thing to prolong our life that ends up killing us because of some super technology, big secrets, and money.
We are swamped with changes, changes we may have to adjust to while still holding the mouse in the palm of our hands. Decisions that will dictate what’s right and good and all we stand for. Our first decision to make a change is the most crucial because it changes our attitude, which changes our future.
When we start to make sincere changes, look at it as a chance to raise your standards. There will be a time when we will no longer tolerate certain people or their ways (Killing in the name of the Lord, etc.) and start looking for what will aspire us to be all we can be in the Eyes of God.
Sometimes things happen that are so compelling in our lives we are challenged to change. I had such an episode and I decided to take it upon myself and be that change, the one I want everyone to know and see; friends, family, and The World.
To incorporate this, I thought about trying to change the world, until I realized changing the world is a pipe dream, changing me was more rational. So it’s up to us to find a balance with so much information, or has our thought process gone whack?
Life consists of changes, some natural, some spontaneous. Often, when we go against the natural order of reality we only create sorrow by resisting change. Just so you know; The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die. As well as the minds which are prevented from changing their options.
We have the power to make incredible changes in our everyday lives if we take control of it instead of giving up our power. Learn the ways of Cyber Space to stay abreast of what we need to resist, at lease we will know what it is we are fighting. Silence may be Golden, but ignorance certainly is not bliss.
Wisdom is a process that is repeated over and over until we understand what we have learned and can instantly recognize it, but success is fast and fleeting especially with the onset of Super Multi drives. It’s A Hard Knock Life!
It’s simple, You can’t stop the future, you can’t rewind the past, the only way to learn the secret…is to play the game. Jay Ashe
JFK said Change is the law of life, and those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future. Which now includes Technology and all the trappings that come with it. (Porno, etc.)
There is no progress without a struggle, so if we are not willing to fight, we are not willing to improve, and waiting on everyone else to join the fight more than likely will not happen. History has proven all we need is a few willing people, come to think of it, that is all we ever had.
The Small and Mighty can win the War in the name of Jesus Christ, coupled with there will be fewer Generals to confer with.
It’s Something To Think About!
To God Be The Glory! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Amen
