A NEW YEAR, THE NEW US?

Every New Year I try to make Resolutions I can keep, and at the end of each year, the first thing I resolve not to do is make any at all.  What’s a girl to do, sometimes it seems as if life is a double-edged sword, well at least for me?  Coupled with, it’s all my fault, am the one who created all the I will’s and will not’s.

As you can read am about to make Resolutions againThe reason I continue although I say I won’t is because I believe there will come a time when I will be able to keep them.  The last thing I want to do is miss a blessing because I gave up too soon.

I have Faith, and I understand Nothing beats a failure but a try.  Plus, I never heard of anyone making Resolutions that call for their own destruction.  I know I could be wrong, but I did say I never heard of…But, there are some strange birds out there doing what’s called The New Norm?  Now, I am not so sure anymore.

But, there is something I would like to say, in prayer, before the arrival of This New Year, and that’s Thank You, Lord for last year, and as we move forward into 2017, I want to Thank You Lord for allowing us to Breathe In The Breath Of Life, once again.  We could have been dead and gone like so many before us, but you choose to let us live.  Thank you for your grace and mercy.  Amen.

With my new set of Resolutions, the one’s I wasn’t going to make, I tried to keep them simple, so let’s pray I’ll be able to keep at least a few of them.

I resolve to stop using I forgot as an excuse, although I know that’s going to take some work.

I forgot is one of those staples we Seniors use when we don’t want to be bothered about something we don’t want to do.  It’s also true that we are forgetful, so sometimes it’s true we did forget.  But this New Year instead of using age as an excuse, I’ll simply answer, in a Christ-like manner, yes, no or maybe, then forget.   🙂

I resolve to stop counting how many words there are in a sentence and start listening to what’s being said.

Okay, some friends may not believe that, but I was better than the year before when I made that same resolution, plus practice makes for perfect.  That last part is what I call a good excuse.

I resolve to not carry into the New Year, The Devil made me do it.  Well, whoever made you do whatever, it certainly wasn’t God.

Sometimes we create our own drama before the day even begins, often saying we got up on the wrong side of the bed.  So, instead of blaming You, the Devil, and God for everything, I am taking responsibility for my actions, distorted or not.  Help me, Jesus!

I resolve to stop acting as if my observations are the only correct ones and stop judging people I don’t know, labeling them devils or devilets.

I will honor and respect the fact that there is only One God and only he know how many devils there are and who they are.  And, by staying in my place, with the help of Jesus Christ, maybe I can become a better person and keep my resolutions instead of playing detective, judge, and jury where I don’t belong.

For, He hath made the earth by his power; He hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.  Jeremiah 10:12

Soon we will ring in 2017, and if the Breath Of Life is still in you, Then God have spoken, and Let The Church say Amen.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT.

THE MAGIC IS IN THE SMALL THINGS!

The magic is in every second that we live and breathe on this earth.  All we have to do is realize this miracle is because of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  We are alive to embrace life because…

HELLO POSSIBLE?

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each page, please feel free to hit the like button and sharing is encouraged.

HELLO POSSIBLE?

Hello Possible, yes I am talking to you.  God made us possible so this is a great day to move in a new and positive direction, it’s easy, Start by doing what’s necessary, then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.  Francis of Assisi

I believe the only things that are not possible are the ones that God say are not possible, and as far as man is concerned, I will only believe in what has been proven to be possible.

There is no question mark behind Your Possible, just know that a man becomes what he believes himself to be.  Plus I have good news; You are not alone, we just need to spread the word, you may be surprised at how many people just need a word of confidence.  Will you supply it, or you?  I did and it wasn’t that hard.

We must be confident in our actions and allow change to form a new and more creative us.  While some may still be trying to figure out who they are.  (The late bloomers, youth, etc.)  The Bible say God already knew, and Dr. Seuss must have agreed when The Cat In The Hat said; You are you and there is no one user than you.

Often it is in our best interest to re-invent ourselves.  When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.  Lao Tzu

With all the negativity that surround our everyday lives; coupled with a lack of Faith, often make it hard to believe that positive reactions with the rest of this crime driven world are still possible because someone is willing to reach out to them that don’t know.

Give thanks to The Educator’s, however they present themselves.  Some lessons are taught by Teachers, others are learned from failed attempts at something like falls from bicycles, or digging ourselves into holes, lost jobs, deaths, etc. these are only a few learning tools among so many.

Things change, that’s natural, but we must make a choice to change with them or not.  There was a time when we trusted our leaders and neighbors without question.  Not anymore.  Now it seems as if we are on our own.  Even if that’s true The future still belongs to those who seek it while believing it’s possible.

I am telling you Possible is probable, it may or may not happen, but it can.  Nelson Mandela lived in a dark world where possible was not on the menu but through faith he stood tall and in the end, was able to tell us It always seems impossible until it’s done.  In other words getting to the finish line is the task.

I believe the future holds some Incredible Possibilities, look what it has done since your birth; wonders have been created that were once thought to be impossible.  For instance, there was a time when a woman’s job was in the home, look where she is now.  (Astronauts, CEO’s, etc.)

Regardless of all our advances, some of us are still bound, but, anything is possible, including freedom if we believe, and fight under the Banner of Faith.  With God and our individual input, we can make things possible.

Did you know it’s possible for you to be one of those re-inventors?  Trust God, and yourself, this way you just may be the person who helped create that change for others.  Anything can happen when we Believe We Are Possible, making it possible to believe we can make things possible, as long as we remember For without me you can do nothing.    John 5:15   KJV

Don’t allow anyone to persuade you not to follow The Will of God, and don’t worry about not being excepted as the favorite, after all, some of those that would try to move you to The Dark Side did Crucified Christ.

We don’t need statistics on this one, just look at your own life and you may agree that most people will not favor the underdog.  It’s a well-known fact that when it comes to placing a bet, we lean towards the winning team whether the competition is fair or not.   Allowing the Devil to reward us with short-termed progress, and as you know He creates so-called winners just to dismantle them.

It’s Something To Think About!

Thank you, Lord, and thank you for your support. It is in Jesus name that we pray.

DID YOU KNOW? #32

Contacts can be found at the bottom of each post and sharing is encouraged.

DID YOU KNOW?  #32  LETTING GO?

You can only lose what you cling too.  Buddha

Did You Know hanging around the people who make us feel good about ourselves, and those who have proven to be trustworthy are the ones on our team?  The ones we can call on when we have an idea and they are willing to support our dreams.  First, we have to start with letting go of those who always hurt us.

If someone keeps hurting you love them at a distance.

The best feeling you can ever have is to lose the attachment you have towards someone who is hurting you and that includes the ones who have the information they know can drop you to your knees: Your mother, father, sister or brother, friends, anyone and everyone who is toxic to your success, and especially with your Relationship with God.

And a man’s foe shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me: He that findeth is life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.   Matthew 10:36-39  KJV

Don’t get it twisted, we’re not talking about Love Only God, He tell us to love ourselves, and neighbors.  We are talking about the 1st Comment; Thou shall have no other God before me.  And we all know, loving a mortal person more than God can be as bad as money being the god we put before some mothers and fathers.

Quit begging others to Love God and to go to church while they’re trying to convince you not to.  You can’t save anyone, you can only ask while trying to lead them in the right direction as long as you don’t lose your own way.  Go Alone when the answer is no.  There are Christians just waiting for you to come through the doors, and Jesus’ hands are outstretched and longing to embrace your Future with Him.  Let nothing stop you, it’s your life and your relationship.

Did you know the Bible says in 1st Corinthians 15:33; Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

FYI: You’ll know the character of a person and how they feel about you when you wake up and accept the fact that some are constantly putting you down.

One way to be sure is to ask yourself are others responding to your wanting a better life with negative comments whenever you tell them about your goals?  Are they challenging your mental abilities claiming, you’re not smart enough?  Are those calling themselves friend happy with themselves?  Do they understand there is always room for improvement and asking for a little help is not a sign of weakness?

Friends will try to help mold us to be that great person we desire, not those that try to undermine us.

Don’t jeopardize your dignity and self-respect by trying to make someone accept, love and appreciate you when they have proven that they are incapable of doing so.  Marc Chernoff

Most times we feel never giving up on love ones is our only option, but we have to realize that sometimes our strongest efforts can result in failureIt just wasn’t meant to be.  And it was never meant to be that those we love, walk all over us for trying.

It’s better to walk with Jesus Christ than to walk with someone trying to crush Our Spirit.  Stop wasting time on things or people who don’t have your best interest at heart.  Everyone is not about God, and it’s sad to know they are lost and work for You Know Who, in an effort to keep us down.  Trust me on this one; The Devil don’t have a problem with anyone, man, woman or your own child delivering you to him.

I know letting go of someone we love who is hurting us can be difficult because of a long history with them, but just so you know: The only thing harder than letting go is holding on, which happens to be a habit, a Bad Habit, in some cases. (Who’s in Control? 11/11/2016)

It seems as if when others walk out of our life they can move on so easily while we suffer the lost.  You have no choice but to let them go since they have already left.  Did you know, your future is with those who remain?

Letting go and forgiveness will lead us back to the life we were supposed to have through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  Your only enemy is fear, and the only thing you will lose is something unnecessary.  Find a way through Christ to shake it off, and remember if there is no good reason to stay, that’s a good reason to leave.

There are lots and lots of thing we can let go of so I want to share one with you that am putting the boot to right now.  I am too old to die young, so am letting that go.  🙂

Thank you, Lord, for giving us the strength to move on and to Shake the Devil Off.   It is in Jesus name that we pray and give praise.  Amen!
