DID YOU KNOW # 31
RIGHT IS RIGHT?
And do not neglect doing good and sharing, fore with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16
Not so fast, I know how some of us can be. Now there are some truly blessed people, including some not so truly blessed that think to give anything is a sacrifice.
To Sacrifice, according to dictionary.com, is the surrender or the destruction of something prized or desirable for the sake of something considered as having a higher or a more pressing claim. We’ll just break that down to for the sake of something else. So let’s not get it twisted; it’s not a sacrifice if we don’t need it, if we don’t want it, or if we won’t miss it; re-gifting included. 🙂
Giving your life for your country is a Hugh Sacrifice, and I will always be grateful.
Right is Right, especially when it concerns another. But did you know in order for our good deeds to flourish we must follow the letter of the law as spelled out in the Bible, coupled with the laws of the carnal world.
And did you know Rights can be made to look Wrong; especially when we are showing off?
It’s not a good look to parade our good deeds for all to see, possibly embarrassing the recipient? Everyone is not keen on their business being shared as a part of someone else victory strut.
Be very careful not to do your good deeds publicly, to be seen by men; otherwise you will have no reward prepared and waiting for you with your father who is in heaven. Matthew 6:1 (AMP)
Give All the Glory to God, for you cannot make one hair white or black, nor can you do anything without Him.
Did you know Great Deeds are usually done at great risk? Perhaps that’s why so many are done in secrecy, coupled with warnings straight from the Bible.
Thus, whenever you give to the poor, no not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites in the synagogues and in the streets like to do, that they may be recognized and honored and praised by men. Truly I tell you, they have their reward in full already. Matthew 6:1-2
And please don’t be a I wish I would had and die with that as your last words or thoughts. Don’t leave this world without leaving a path for others that’s worth following. We all have some value, and your shared experiences even in death may show the way for another.
We all know that death is death, men will die and that is an inescapable reality, but good deeds live forever, for without them we will never understand the gift of an unexpected a miracle?
Believe it or not miracles do happen, and I believe they can happen more often than not with biblical knowledge. A good starting point to possibly finding your miracle can be found in Colossians 3:17; And whatsoever you do in word or deed (do) all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Did you know Roman 2:6-11 puts God’s actions into perspective and the effects of our deeds or lack of into a real-time reality check?
It’s simple; God will judge everyone according to his own deeds. vs.2:6
The do-good-er will attain eternal life. vs. 2:7
The devils and devilets will incur wrath. vs.2:8
The evil will suffer tribulations. vs. 2:9
The good will receive glory. vs. 2:10
And everyone will be impartially judge by God and God only. vs. 2:11
Now you know, Right is Right, and It’s Something to Think About!
Lord, help us to see the needs of others over our own, and help us to acquire the ability to do good deeds as a result. And it is in Jesus name that we pray. Amen!
