I would like to thank every one of you personally for your support, but as we all know I am unable to do that so please accept my heartfelt thanks through this post and much more to come.
With that being said, quite a few of you are asking where do I get the subject matter for the post I write. I can tell you experience is the culprit, and there is nothing easy breezy about those life lessons, am just fortunate to have survived them all and still maintain a good sense of humor. (On some occasions.)
The truth is I lived or played a part in some harrowing experiences, learned hard lessons, and managed to get out alive. Now don’t get it twisted, I also lived a very good life with the help of Jesus Christ. So it’s safe to say, I know what am writing about because I was there, or did whatever it was myself.
We all have a story to tell, if willing, and I am willing. Although some of the events are more dramatic than others, some downright embarrassing, it’s still my Testimony as required by God for saving my life when it came to 3rd Stage Breast Cancer. Also, to give all a warning; DON’T DO WHAT I DID in my tell-all book. I was blessed to have God’s Favor, and still, there was a steep price to pay.
I know the realities I write about in my blog Something To Think About and trust me, I am not bragging.
I was in a lot of trouble most of the time, but God had a purpose for my life, and it has been a journey to discover what that purpose is. Now I know it is to share how a merciful God saved my life with the expectation that I would one day share those times in an effort to enlighten all who would listen.
I Survived 60 Years to Get Cancer, Then Kill It./ The Norvie L. Cherry Story is a testament to that life. A story born out of bad decisions, not poverty or a one-parent upbringing.
