Time is our most precious resource, everything we do requires it. The thing is, it moves in one direction; forward.
When it comes to time, save the excuses; it’s not about “having” time, it’s about making it. If we’re smart it won’t take long before we realize the time will seem shorter if we are carelessly wasting it, and the only time we will have an Eternity is when we are in Heaven or Hell.
An optimist doesn’t worry about the world coming to an end today; they know it’s already tomorrow on the other side of the world, and God is already there. The thing is, we waste more time than anything else in the world; The one thing we have the least of.
Just so you know; Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills its pupils.” H. L. Berlioz
How many times have we heard “Time is a great healer,” or “The greatest therapy for healing is time?” What we rarely consider is, do we have enough time for that thing to happen?
As we all know time is not guaranteed, so waiting for it is senseless; as a matter of fact, it’s passing as we speak. So, a productive waste of time is to figure out how to use it, then jump on the clock as if there is no tomorrow.
We cannot save time, speed it up, nor slow it down. We cannot add to, diminish or dismiss it. What we can do is put it to good use, it’s the only way we will accomplish anything worthwhile.
When lying on our backs refusing to do something beneficial, in time, because of time, you will soon regret it. But, if you enjoyed wasting that time, then it was worth it.
FYI: When it comes to time, remember the end will come so keep in mind, “Focused action beats brilliance.” Mark Sanborn
The Bible tries to enlighten us in Psalm 90:20 where it is written, Teach us to number each of our days so that we may grow in wisdom. And, in Ephesians 3:1 we are told, There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven;
Ephesians 5:11 warns us, Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits or darkness.
At times, our time can have us running around like a “chicken with its head cut off.” Don’t do it, it’s a waste of time, instead read the Bible, for it tells us in Philippians 4:6; Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
Just so you know; Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appear for a little time, and then vanishes. James 4:14 KJV
Just like all our time does; It’s Something to think about.
Thank you Lord! And it is in Jesus name that we pray for enough time for your will to be done in our lifetime, for we are slow to use it wisely. Amen!
