Woe Is Me, is just another “Never-ending Story” I am tired of hearing. A tale that has no ending, or signs of relief in sight for the hearers.
If I may, I suppose if you have Survived a life or death situation, you know, “When it rains, it pours.” Just be aware of the fact that most are not interested in hearing those same old stories of how you suffered with whatever it was that ailed you so long ago, for the Kazillionth time.
At times, woe is me, can take on a life of its own, even after matters have completely changed for the better. After all, some of us insist on drowning in misery, while hanging on to drama as if it were our lifeblood. Perhaps some of us enjoy a good Pity Party?
Life has a unique way of stepping on our toes, especially if we are weak and void of Christ. Often leaving us to ask ourselves; When is something good going to come my way?
The answer is, something good is always within your reach, especially if you know Jesus and Him you. The thing is, some are just too busy crying over what was, to notice.
Start your day off on a positive note, strive to gain an attitude to Persevere; which is to continue a course of action in the face of difficulty. Easy enough, just hard to do because it requires discipline, coupled with a strong will to be better than before, leaving little time to dwell on what was.
Leave the past in the past, and never forget what was learned is absolutely critical to move on to the next stage of our lives. Are you aware of the fact that the future reward those who press on, and the success of our future is usually found in our daily routine?
Successful people have a history of good habits, and they know nothing good comes, from constantly reliving any type of discomfort; creating another bad habit. Let go of the “Woe” and pick up the Cross; It’s a new day.
Give Testimony about how you overcame that thing through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and what may help others facing similar situations.
Breathe new life into you and your story. Tell about what’s happening now; Testify how God saved your life while expressing great joy when explaining how you are able to do what you do through Him that delivered you.
Encourage others. Give yourself a break from that same old tale of woe. Remove yourself from that unhealthy place we can find ourselves in while claiming what we cannot do in the future.
Rejoice, You Survived; Do something with that.
Be positive when talking about your experiences, let the world know; Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”
