THE PERFECT GIFT?

For me,  “The Perfect Gift”  would be to live an amazing life under the guidelines of Jesus Christ.  I believe the best way to accomplish that is to not care about who gets the credit.

The gift is: TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Since God made all of us in his image, have you ever noticed he did not make us all the same when it comes to diversity?  We are as different as the layout of the lands, as deep as the oceans, and as wide in our observations at the vastness of an unending sky.

The gift is: To be amazed at who you are.

We all want to be the best we can be, so choose your words, and ways carefully; people will hear and see the real you, especially the one’s we perceive to not be paying attention.  What matters is they will feel your attitude.

Once we understand excellence is not a skill, it’s an attitude, we can start a chain reaction of extraordinary events with even greater results, turn a weakness into a strength by taking total responsibility for ourselves.  When we control ourselves, we can control our destiny.

The gift is: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, and to the Lord, and not unto men: knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: For ye serve the Lord Christ.  Colossians 3:23-24

Taking the responsibility for oneself requires courage, at least enough to take risks; for without risks nothing in life can be or will be accomplished.  We have to start with conquering fear.  Only those who put their fear aside can find out how far they can go, and the understanding that courage is not enough without purpose and direction.

The gift is knowing: Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy one is understanding.  Proverbs 9:10

In order to receive  “The Perfect Gift,”  we have to desire to be Christ-like.

The gift is to: Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.   Psalms 37:4

Let this mind be in you, which is also in Jesus Christ. Philippines 2:5

Thank you, Lord, for giving us Jesus Christ, “The Perfect Gift.”  In Jesus name, we pray.  Amen
