When someone is trying to mine my business, especially when they have no idea of what my business entails, coupled with constantly suggesting that I, Do This and Do That. Most times those suggestions are out of my wheelhouse, and just plain wrong. Plus that do what I say attitude has nothing to do with what’s good for me. I can handle that, but when God is not in the equation, nor am I.
The god-sent person that believe they have my number say they know more about me than me. Yeah right; in their mind, not in mine. I bet they don’t know how many hairs are on my head. The only person to know more about me than me, is God. I have a pretty good idea of what I am capable of, and it does not include saying something as crazy as that.
You can say I am fussing if you wish, but when I say thank you for the advice, that’s the end of the conversation for me. Move on with that tomfoolery, all it does is make me want to shout, Help me Lord! Okay, so back in the day I may have been more vocal, if you know what I mean. Oh well that was then, and this is now.
When I am ready to scream at the top of my voice, I try to breathe in one of my favorite quotes, one of those I used while battling cancer. I don’t know the author’s name, but I surly like his attitude: Life take us to be brink of our limit and forces us to keep moving.
For me, it’s in my best interest to make the move. I am one of those persons that don’t like being told what to do. “You ought to.” You ought to do you, is my suggestion. I don’t like to be told to shut up, kiss anything, especially; “I know you better than you know yourself.”
It’s time to embrace Jesus Christ when those words have been spoken. Those are fighting words coming out of the mouth of a fool. Showing off is the fool’s idea of Glory. Bruce Lee. The sad part is, the fool doesn’t know that, and are not prepared to hear that about themselves, just dish it.
I can’t stay, I have to get the Jesus in me up and running, I have to show by example, while doing the best I can to motivate others. (Which happens to be my purpose; I could lose my life if I didn’t. You’ll have to read my tell all book to get in on that part of my life.) It’s just the way some people go about things; tacky, rude, and coupled with that big mouth. “You don’t know what you’re doing.” “You’re so stupid, you wouldn’t know what good advice is, even if it was staring you in the face.”
Some people are exempt. I took those fighting words from my family, and not one of them has ever called me stupid.
I knew the best advice I could ever receive would have to come from the Holy Spirit, coupled with trial and error; we always have to do the work. The last thing I was looking for, was not someone “with their dukes up?” I have Jesus as a life coach, and I am rooted.
We are all unique and blessed according to Our Father’s Will, not the way we think, or the relentless unsolicited advice we get, thinks. The do this and do that people push hard for their way to be included into our lives. Every time we look up here they come, ready to suck the life out of us, their way.
Some really believe their ungodly ways is the best way. I don’t think so, unless they’re Jesus, and he don’t go there. He signed a contract in blood to not take that route.
Father God, I pray you help the scholars (devils) with all that special advice; something may have a hold on them. Amen!
Although the do this person is looked upon as a complete buffoon, ease up, some people didn’t get the memo: Some people aren’t good at anything, they just are.
Don’t get me wrong, even when I didn’t want to listen, if my spirit suggested I do, I did. I had to fight me, just to get it done. Satan is strong; Christ with we’re stronger.
Most problems manifest themselves when some smarty-pants, who has not done their homework, start to talk. Yep, right off the top of their head, saying things with no prior knowledge of our personal situations. (The no thought before giving advice, doldrums.) Busybodies don’t have enough time to understand that their ideas may be helpful and valid, but not necessary for me… “What is for me is for me.”
No one should be dragged into do this or that, weather they do or not. I suggest we listen, there is nothing wrong with that, even a fool in the course of a conversation will tell you something you didn’t know. Just weed out what’s not for you, and what’s not of God, then move on.
Talkers. I was that girl. I thought I was the only one with any sense, and that was only because I had no prior experience with real failure or despair. I had on my rose-colored glasses and I thought ” I knew it all.” Let me tell it, I had it going on. Too bad that wasn’t the deal. Once I woke up and realized most people are capable of making their own decisions, and taking care of their own needs, I backed off.

I didn’t mean that statement as a joke, a fall from grace can be barn burner, it’s almost as bad as crabs in a barrow; they keep pulling each other down trying to reach the top.
Nowadays, seldom do I give my personal opinion without an invitation. Everybody don’t want you in their business, and I am a witness only to what I have experienced, and I offer that knowledge in Testimony. Testimonies that are all about, I have been there, done that, and I am wearing the scars. They healed but never went away. I caught hell, perhaps telling my story it will help someone else avoid that kind of heat.
When I stopped what I was doing and allowed Christ to use me, I actually received rewards for being obedient. Even my bad grammar has not stopped me from giving Testimony; plus I have been blessed enough to share them you; I am sure you understand what I am saying, easily.
I am a Living Witness for Jesus Christ, and I almost had to die to earn the position. But, I Survived 60 Years to Get Cancer, Then Kill It. And it’s all good, now that I’m under the Authority of Jesus Christ, not Norvie L. Cherry. You should try it, life is much easier.
Thank you Lord Jesus for all you do. And when we are giving advice let it be you that composed our words, so that all will not be in vain. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
