We must “Take Charge” of ourselves, right now, no matter the age or circumstances unless you are too young or need assistance to function, if possible have someone do it for you. Stand up and make your presence known to be counted, or lose yourself to the whims of others.
When I had a mastectomy, 20 minutes after my doctor left the room I was in the hall with my I.V. pole walking around like a drunk. Of course I was on heavy drugs, and the nurses thought I was crazy when in fact, I was fueled by the mere thought of recovery. I told myself; If you can’t physically stand, mentally get up.
If you don’t set the stage for your own life, chances are you’ll fall under someone else’s plan. And I can say with a certain degree of proof, there is not much set on the table for you, except servitude. Don’t let the world run you over.
In order to get off to a good start we should never listen to, or let our fears get the best of us. Talk to someone about them. Possibly a friend, and or a pastor in a “Bible Believing, Bible Teaching, Church.”
Search out the Christians who have the ability to listen, and to care about us when we are in a state of despair or confusion. Someone who will stay the course, not matter the hour or the nature of the situation. Prehaps a friend who cares, a good neighbor, etc..
I choose to be friends with Jesus Christ in order to not live the life of a Slave, always trapped under the suppressor views, or the ungodly acts of others.; No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my father I have made known to you. John 15:15
Now that’s what I call a friend with benefits. A friend who we can glean good judgement from, after making bad decisions, and they morph into usable experiences. Proving it’s never to late to change our goals, or our dreams. We really don’t need a lot of strength or intelligence to reach our full potential. It’s the effort, including perseverance that will lead us to greatness.
Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else’s hands, but not you. Jim Rohn
I have decided to take charge of my life, and take a chance on me with the blessings of Christ. Now, when I fall I get back up, and I found the courage to step up to the plate, allowing me to get a grip on my fears. Also, I have taking on an attitude of reminding myself, if I can’t do me, or anybody else any good, the least I can do is not make matters worse.
We are all in different stages of our life and at different levels in our Faith. Some of us have experience, and some of us are looking for an inspirational path to take, including the ones who say they don’t care where they are in today’s society. I don’t believe that. I believe that to be a loser’s statement, or someone who is truly hurt and trying to cover it with a lackadaisical attitude. Someone who is lost, without interest, vigor, determination, or just plain lazy.
FYI: Understand that all who wanders is not lost. But, its best to have an end, an end that is conjoined with every journey we take. (That unmistakable desire to succeed.) Certainly our journey’s will change us in one way or another, as surly as night turns into day. It’s what we take for them is what will matter.
When my time comes and I am standing in Judgement, I want my life roll to state that I was an honest woman with character, and a desire to help others. And no matter the obstacles I have had to face, I kept the faith, and prayed for strength in order to take charge of me, by refusing to be a mean jealous vindictive old woman.
I am the only one who can make that happen, and succeed because Jesus Christ is my anchor. His love, challenges me to continue to follow His doctrines, and giving me the resolve to refuse to bow down to those who would attempt to make a lie out of my life. The Devil, and his cohorts: maybe some of you. “If the shoe don’t fit don’t wear it,” but remember we can’t really hide our true nature.
In order to be that person and “Take Charge,” we need grace and favor from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to help us not allow others to dictate our mood.
Our mood can make or break us, so if we don’t manage it well by being angry all the time, and frustrated when things don’t go our way, we will not live a peaceful life. If we don’t correct our wrongs, we may not be able to resolve any troubling aspects of who we are, causing us to lose ourselves in the process.
I value my character, it represents who I am; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:19 “It’s Something to Think About.”
Lord I ask you today to take control of over all our lives, and help us to will surrender to your will. In Jesus name we pray. To God Be The Glory. Amen!
