I have often wondered why some people with big wins don’t do well the majority of the time. I have tried to think of every physical way there is to lose a zillion dollars in a relativity short period of time. That is if I had it to lose. With all that money, how do we end up in worst financial shape than we were before the “Grand prize.”
I am going to guess the tithes were not paid. All we have to do is give something because we want to, and pray we gain in order to do more. Yep! It’s that simple, “the more you give the more you get.” From a legal standpoint, so don’t try it.
The hard part is to continue to give the pot grow; if not, we lose sight or get caught up only to realize that after the fact. When we’re broke and in debt, the last thing we want to hear is are our peers chiming in; “I bet you didn’t see that one coming?”
Oh! About those tithes; Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. It is written. 2nd Corinthians 9:7 ES-V
On top of losing all the new money, fast money, ill-gotten gain money, etc money… unhappiness, coupled with regret has no other choice but to welcome you into its bosom. There are quite a few major players that can be added to the mix. Stuff like lies waiting to be told, cover-ups, uneducated decisions. Anything that will send that money right back out into the world, where it belongs.
Money was not designed to hoard; the whole purpose is to use it, plus we can’t take it to Heaven. What good is hoarding it, where is the joy in that? Money actually complicate our lives with or without it; it has its own unique way of creating worldly pressures.
I am not stupid, I know we must have money in order to have a life, pay our bills, money for a rainy day, etc. That’s the kind of wealth I want. The money that I earned, enabling me to enjoy the fruits of my labor, finding happiness through hard work, and a love for my neighbors.
Having a meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect. It is all about being real, being humble, being strong and being able to share ourselves in order to touch the lives of others.
And being Blessed has nothing to do with being rich either. It’s all about having a love for God. Once our needs are met, and we are still craving for more; it’s all about personal desires, gaining heavy finances, uncontrollable passions, senseless delusions, inefficiencies, and Power. In short, The Devil.
Don’t waste what God has blessed you with chasing what we think will satisfy us for the moment. The flesh is packed with never-ending pressures, mostly stemming from never being satisfied, and unwilling to share, no matter how merger the coins.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. 1st Timothy 6:10 ES-V
FYI: The Bible clearly give warnings concerning craving money: No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24
The choice is yours; I went to work, on time.
