Try as we may, it’s never a good feeling to lose friends, especially the ones who have been in our lives almost as long as we have been alive. I have some friends I have known since childhood, sadly they are no longer in my life, lost forever for some of the most ridiculous reasons, and that’s O. K… Not really, but I understand some friends are in our lives for the duration and some for only a season.
When the loss of a friend is something that is out of my control, I can accept that because of where I am in my life, now, and move on, although it can be painful. I have learned to accept some things for what they are.
Regardless of the length of one’s friendships, it’s natural for one if not both to change; prayerfully for the better. The different paths and experiences we take is usually the case. Unfortunately, some of our oldest friends do not enjoy seeing the new and improved us, feeling left, they may refuse to see you for what you were, and disapprove of who you are now. They are Jealous.
These “ole friends” prefer the old sinful you, refusing to accept the fact that you decided to do what’s best for you, and often they cry foul; “You’re no fun anymore.” It may be time to let go, their season is over.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 1st Corinthians 15:33
Some people never want to change, set in their ways it is said. Even when a long and trusted friend try to lead them to the truth, still the response is, “This is who I am.” That may be the problem if so run.
Go away from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. Proverbs 14:7
If they are truly your friend they should understand and be glad you have made strides in your life to improve your lifestyle, instead of becoming angry. It’s funny how our friends will follow us everywhere, but to church.
Make no friendships with an angry man, and with a furious man, thou shalt not go. Proverbs: 24-25
It saddens me to say that after all those years together, your friend may not have been your friend. Some may have been tricked by the Devil, for years, and still this imposter of a friend, even when they have been discovered, will still try to stop our progress, in favor of drama. And for some reason, we are upset about losing this friendship. Who does that? Satan and his crew.
Remember the Devil will attack us when he thinks we are getting too close to God. Satan will come, and be dressed out in all shapes, and sizes, including bad intentions. Check everyone’s credentials for signs of things that don’t work well with who you are in Christ.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1st John 4:1
Lord we pray you give us the sense to recognize when things are against who you are and who we are in you, long before we waste time on the undeserving servants of Satan. In Jesus name we pray.

Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more
than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all.
