MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!

22 Jun

“Mind Your Own Business” and the rest will take care of its self, or so we say. I don’t know about all that, but I thought I had the tools to make things happen for me, and I got angry when they didn’t work, or others didn’t want to hear my mouth. Too much Drama!

I changed directions after realizing others wanted their way too. The thing is: I didn’t like the way they went about obtaining it; lying, stealing, cheating, etc. I have morals, and I am definitely not trying to block my blessings. I know the consequences of willful sin. Misguided intentions, takes courage. More than I can muster.

If some of us, especially the ones that think they “know it all”  are wondering what went wrong when we insisted on voicing our unwanted advice, or opinions concerning what is best for somebody else; You think some balked because it is not our business to get their business down to a T?

We are flawed so we cannot see or understand all things like Jesus Christ, who is real and not seen. (Faith)

Very seldom do we take into consideration the mere fact that we cannot control how others feel, or how they will react in any given situation? When our suggestions are unwanted, we see others as fools. And all of it is none of our business.

“Mind Your Own Business?”

With all our wisdom, all we can do in an intelligent manner is to stay calm. Trust me, there will be another day, but right now, you need to stay in your own lane. Staying in control of you through Jesus Christ. This is your business and our daily quest.

Beware of those who are always in another’s privacy lane, (the gossips, etc.) since they are capable of losing themselves in a pool of strange tales at the snap of a finger, while giving unsolicited advice, and constant updates. Most consider themselves everybody’s problem-solver, and friend.

Then there are those who prefer to let evil into their life and some that can’t help themselves? Born into their own personal hell. The devil’s and devilet’s; who prefer acting out in a rage, all over something that is none of their concern. Least, not the fools, rejoicing in saying, “I told you so,” and still don’t know what they are talking about.

Better learn how to get a grip on you, and those emotions of having the need to be a walking Wikipedia. If we spend as much time handling our own business, as much as we do others, we may avoid misunderstandings that were not our concern in the first place. Everybody doesn’t want us in their business; so not being on the same page will fuel a fire.

Don’t let Satan trick you into thinking an invitation is not required. We talked about these things before.

Most times, when asked to “mind our own business,” anger will show its ugly face, because of pride. But, “It takes two to tangle,”  so this can go either way. Our job is to stay strong by not feeding into someone else’s, whatever, or their problems, if not invited. That road leads to distress and destruction; possibly legal procedures, and friendships loss.

We have powers, conquering powers, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. With some “angry birds,” it will take nothing less than Jesus. That’s one of the reasons he makes himself available. What are we going to do without Christ?  Nothing!   John 15:5   But with Him;

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.   Philippians 4:13

Situations can fester into sin, especially when asked to “mind your own business.”  Besides being embarrassed, we respond by gossiping or spreading the  “I told them, but no one was listening lies.”  This type of attitude is similar to acid reflux. It comes up from the deep, the harsh while burning holes in the fabric of all it touches. Hating, because of pride, that pride we couldn’t swallow.

I know sometimes we can get a little uptight, but that don’t mean we have to make a spectacle of ourselves, arguing with someone about their business. Or keep anger hanging out with us like a best friend would. Using the excuse, “Oh! That’s just the way I am.”  Bull, I say, that’s the way you choose to be. And, I will admit that I have struck out at others for no other reason than I don’t know why. Sometimes things just happen, but I don’t believe “For no Reason.”

Things can happen at an alarming pace when we settle in and let our guards down. We get too busy lapping up the forbidden, and readily available; the snares and traps that come hand in hand with everyday living, and attaching ourselves to situations that don’t want our company.

Did you know the devil is aware of the fact that we are joint heirs with the King; but wants to know, “How come we can’t have everything?”   Encouraging us to spew our wrath of discontent on others by interfering in their personal life and business. Generating penetrating fear, to all who are in range, just because we want to be heard, in matters that do not concern us.

That’s what Satan wants of us and that’s what he preaches. The thing is, we all know he is a liar, even the ones caught up; for they are liars too. And still, we do his evil callings because we are weak in the flesh. A flesh, Satan wants to smell, rotting in hell.

In this busy body world, we say, and I understand, we can get a bit jittery?  But, being “a bit angry,” will be determined by the recipient, as to what degree of wrath they received. Anger is just one letter short of danger.   Eleanor Roosevelt

When we are challenged about other people’s business instead of opting out of it, we usually strick out. A diversion; and a clear indication of our lack of a decent education, (rules, etiquette, etc.)

Act a fool and everyone will know you are one. One of the reasons some of us can’t “mind our own business,”  and most times we don’t have any of our own we want to deal with, so we deal with yours. Some claim being nosy is hereditary, others are just “plain ole mean” and want to upset everyone’s life.

At times, when we fight for our personal privacy, take note that it is O.K., to get people out of your mix.  “Sometimes anger is necessary because “wrath is the father of justice” and a necessary answer to evil.”   Dean Koontz

But for whatever reason there is any anger, valid, necessary, or not, Ephesians 4:26 says;

Be ye not angry, and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.   1st Thessalonians 5:11

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Since we know this is right.   Amen

    You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
