LIFE IS A JOURNEY!

“Life is a Journey,”  full of twists and turns.  In my opinion, we should let our life play its self out.  When we try to change the course of reality, and the ways of God, we only create sorrow, and misery for ourselves and those around.  Some of us with Faith can stay the course, others will fall by the wayside.  No matter what, in the end, we will be judged by our peers and God Almighty.  At that point the only thing that will matter will be the results of our existence.

I believe the only journey is the one we create within ourselves, whether it be hard, soft or fair.

In Jesus name we pray.   Amen

BE WATCHFUL!

I believe in God and I believe the Devil exist. I also believe there is only one God, but plenty of devil and devilets; I know a few.  The thing is, I am most afraid of the Devil worshipers that hide in plain sight.  What say you?

So be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.   1st Peter 5:8

Thank you, Lord, for overseeing and protecting me.  In Jesus name, we pray.

BETTER ASK SOMEBODY!

My purpose is to share my dilemmas in order to enlighten others to the fact that danger and ignorance are lurking everywhere.  So let’s explore a few quotes that are easy to remember and may help us stay focused.

“Time is a commodity we can never recover.”  Ask a senior citizen.

“Happiness doesn’t have an address it has a heart.”  Asked the saved.

“If we had everything where would we put it, and what would we hope for?”  Ask the wealthy.

“Most people don’t listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply”  Ask the ones who know everything.

And finally; Do not be hasty in thy spirit to be angry; for anger rest in the bosom of fools.   Ecclesiastes 7:9   Ask someone who insists on being stupid.

In the name of Jesus, we trust and pray. Thank you, Lord.   Amen

The Devil can cite scripture as well as anybody else, and he has put a price on everything we enjoy, coupled with a bad spirit.  So, we should surround ourselves with positive people, keeping our distance from those who wish to corrupt us.  Believe it or not, you are your worst enemy, most times.

I think Billy Sunday did an excellent job of explaining what may occur when he said, “If you don’t set the tone for the day, the Devil will set it for you.”

THE DEVIL CAN AND WILL!

Did you know the wealth of the world is how we become trapped by the Devil; he uses it as bait.  Did I mention the Grand Prize is Hell?  The gift we receive for being obedient to Satan.

For your consideration; when someone says they want to be just like you, answer with, “As I follow after Christ?”

CHOOSE WISELY!

If we want to walk in a path that will lead us to our desires, there are three ways to go.  We can create one, which will lead us to the other two.  One that leads straight to Satan, offering all the wonders and traps of the world, or a stroll with Christ, offering Peace and Everlasting Life.

It’s your decision, making you responsible for the choice you make, so weigh the options carefully.  With Christ, we can stumble on our journey over and over and still reach our potential.  With Satan its a done deal, falter or not.

SUFFERING, IS A REAL LIFE STRUGGLE!

“Education comes from within; you get it by struggle and effort and thought.”   Napoleon Hill

I believe God’s desires were revealed to me through obedience.  As bad as I was, I managed to be obedient most of the time.  While growing up in a church setting, I knew Jesus Christ learned obedience by the things he suffered.  A great motivator for me.

Some of us think we are immune to the struggles of others and the dark side of the world because of who we think we are in it.  And who’s to judge?  There is no need to answer that, we are way too important to care anyway.  For clarity, know that you are your mother’s child until she teaches you to become one with Christ, creating a cause for us to become joint heirs to the throne.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.   Proverbs 22:6

A few times while reading the above verse, I have gotten the impression there may be a clue in there to avoid what’s in the middle, (The nothings) before we get old, and have to return to grace, ashamed or maybe not.  Even as a child, I knew the consequences of bad judgment or a lack of.  Sometimes we take a beating caused by our own hands, causing all around to suffer and most times  ” it is what we made it.”

To suffer is to undergo or feel pain and or be distressed: To sustain an injury, disadvantage, or loss.  To endure a disability or death; willingly, or subjected to.  Suffering through all these explanations of suffering.  Either way the harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph.

Strength is gathered from distress coupled with growth.  So I concluded suffering from anything is a part of our walk and growing pains; but don’t let your battles be the ones you picked, only to claim  “the Devil made me do it.”

For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well-doing than for evil doings.   1st Peter 3:17

Life is a real struggle, so with the sufferings attached, we may need every weapon we can muster to conquer the evils that live within its boundaries.  I think about these things, then I thank God for sustaining me, as well as others in the worst of times.  Through his love, dedication, and promises, Jesus Christ carried me to the finish line, saving my life along the way.

Some of us grew up on the “Rough Side of the Mountain,”  and some of us chose to make the climb even harder by harboring disobedience.  When doing unbecoming things we may reach our goals, but in the meantime, we can get hurt in the process.

In my brief encounter with that life lesson, a person I knew sucker punched another for no apparent reason, breaking their own hand in the process.  I am not into beating myself down just to punish you, or any stranger of my choice.

The word suffer is a lack or a refusal to comply; to disregard our transgressions; which is a violation of law, command, or sin, etc.  A choice we made no matter what side of the mountain we grew up on.  With Jesus Christ, we can move mountains, any mountain; cancer, high blood pressure, etc… I am a Witness to that.

“Suffering Is A Real Life Struggle”  still its only what we make of it.  We can wake up in the morning with complaints, instead of Praising God.  Complaining with anticipation about things that have not come to the forefront, and some things we took to bed with us, causing us to suffer by our own outspoken mouth, and actions to make matters that do not exist come to the light, by the power of the tongue, an overworked imagination, a lack of faith and the Devil.

We can reign in the battle that the tongue and its cohorts have caused, because of the power we hold being believers in The Word of God.  The majority of us know Faith is a confidence or trust in a person or thing.  In this case, we are talking about a belief based on Jesus Christ, without proof.  So, trust and faith are the unseen keys.   May I suggest we blindly use this trusting faith when we are at a loss, suffering, and seeking help?

Life is in indeed a battle.  A battle consisting of an array of struggles.  Evil is cruel and strong; beauty is still enchanting, but rare; goodness can look tattered and weak; allowing tomfoolery to be defiant.  Wickedness can and will carry the day, and mankind is lost in the wilderness.

“But the world as it stands is no narrow illusion, no phantasm, no evil dream of the night; we wake up to it; forever and ever; and we can neither forget it nor deny it nor dispense with it.”   Henry James

So here we are, trying to hang on to a life that is full of life and death choices.  Understand, by knowing the Will of God and becoming obedient to his Commandments, while trusting him, gives us insight to what decision is to be made.  Just ask for his guidance.

And Jesus answering said unto them, Have Faith in God.   Mark 11:22

“It’s Something To Think About.”

TAKE A CHANCE ON YOU!

Everyone seems to know which way the others should go, even if they have lost their own way.  I suggest we be careful when taking advice from another about your own personal journey.  Especially from someone who is not walking with us.  And make sure to walk with your head held high, coupled with a positive perspective in order to accomplish your life goals.  Try listening to yourself focusing on a Christ-like attitude.

That alone makes the real possibilities, coupled with the fact that you can do it with favor from God.  With Jesus we can, we can shoot straight to the top, and all the while we are kind and giving.

The “secret to success”  lies in you, and the key is to listen to yourself.  God gives us the answer, from the Holy Spirit, that is in our hearts.  You are what you set yourself up to be, and you will never know what that is if you decide not to;

“Take a Chance on You.”

Father, we ask you in advance, to help us make the correct decisions in the future.   In Jesus name, we pray.

THE CHOICE IS HIS

I am not the learned, but I am a Witness to God’s Power, and I learned Christ don’t call the qualified, he qualifies the called.

For many are called, but few are chosen.   Matthew 22:14

THE CHOICE IS HIS!

Live Life!

Our best is not always good enough when bad things, including some good things, happen.  This does not mean disappointments of any kind cannot be conquered.  Success is an attitude and winning is a habit, (so is losing) and of course no one wants to die; but “it is what it is.”  So live life in the moment with Jesus Christ.  This is the only way, win or lose, right or wrong, we can get a shot at “everlasting life.”

In Jesus name, we pray.   Amen
