THE GOD OF ALL GOD’S, JESUS CHRIST!

Someone opened their eyes for the first time, and someone else closed theirs for the last.  God was there both times because he is the God of all God’s; the living and the dead.  God is everywhere, even between the dashes. (1900 dash 2000)  There is a lot that goes on in the middle of the fine line that bridges the gap between living and dying.

God is the God of all God’s and the only one I know of that’s on our side.  Everything in his doctrine is for the good of others and self-help.  No human sacrifices are necessary; the murder of innocence’s in his behalf is out of the question, or any ungodly act we can conjure up in his name.

The God of all God’s name is Jesus Christ.  A name that means the Word of God.  If you know that name you probably know right from wrong, therefore you know something about Christ.  But if what you know leaves you to not trust him, may I suggest we leave his name out of all our lying and wrong doings.  If we can’t, we may suffer consequences dealt by our own hands.

“Indeed, let God be true, but every man a liar.”   Romans 3:4

Call on the god you believe in.  But for your own best interest calling on Christ is a win-win.  If you do not believe in Jesus stop calling, using, and hiding behind the real him when in trouble; get on board or your call may not be answered in a timely fashion; it may have been blocked by you know who…  We don’t want our cry stuck in call waiting.

We need Jesus Christ to be on the mainline.  He is the only God that gives us as many chances we need to be successful in life.  He is the only true God who will not hang up on us when we give ourselves and commit to His Commandments.

Place no gods before him, love your neighbor as thyself, don’t covet things that belong to others, etc.  It’s simple, just treat people the way you want to be treated and Christ will give as much as you have given; oftentimes more than we deserve.  Everlasting Life is one such gift.

Jesus is the only One I know of that gives choices and the only One I ever heard of that forgives.  I never heard of him using brute force to get anyone or thing to obey his will.  I was told and read he cannot do evil or take his word back.  I also know he wouldn’t want to.

“Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God;” for God cannot be tempted by evil, and he does not tempt anyone.”   James 1:13

Jesus doesn’t sit on the sidelines complaining when we are out of the game, he coaches us back in and gives us the best play of the day, and if we listen to our hearts where he resides, we can win.  The God of all God’s is a team player, and he wants us all to have the best there is to have.

Make no mistake about it, we pay a heavy price when we go against what has been ordained by God.

When praying to Christ about something we don’t deserve or need will not cause us to lose our voice; Jesus simply reminds us we are all his children and as a good father would, he may or may not grant our wishes.  I believe this may depend on our degree of service.

“Rights that do not flow from duty well performed are not worth having.”   Mahatma Gandhi

The God of all God’s knows we can get into a habit of praying complaints.  The Oh God prayer.  Jesus already knows what we are in need of.  Shouldn’t we know by now that whatever we are seeking can be found in him; if only we would worship, love, adore and praise His name?  The world can be our oyster and cake we can eat.

We need prayer, for without it “If you only have a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.”   Abraham Maslav

Jesus Christ is a problem solver, a healer, a lover of man.  When we make mistakes, which is all the time; this action makes him forgive, holding no grudges or bearing false witness.  The God of all God’s, recognize the fact that we make mistakes, so he puts us in a position to claim that mistake as an experience; a learning process pulled from the category called, forgiveness.

The Devil promised Jesus the world, and he declined the offer.  An example of what we should do.  Shouldn’t we know by now the carnal world is an enemy of his and we will have tribulations just as Christ did?  But for those who believe in him, they shall have peace and everlasting life.  Go figure.

The Devils promises are just that, promises.  Don’t get it twisted, Satan is a creation of God and can be eliminated by God, the same as you and I.  Everything depends on which way we lean; we have choices, something not offered with these other gods.  (Graven imagines.)

Jesus Christ is the ultimate helpmate for the betterment of all.  Even when we see a person’s success, remember he didn’t get there all by himself; help was received from something or someone.  Beware of the Devil; he gives gifts too.

The God of all God’s is the one who can sustain the gifts He givesChrist Jesus gifts don’t come with dire circumstances, idle promises and revenge.  As a matter of fact, most are given freely to those who deserve them and some who don’t.

Favor is often given to some we may not consider worthy, but that’s not our call, and we may never know why, after all, He is God.

The God of all God’s said He would give us all the resources we need in our lifetime; keeping the doors open for any opportunity to finish the life we are already living, lending itself to purpose.  With Jesus, the human soul can rise above and beyond our own expectations and create an environment that is healthy, wealthy and wise for all those around by “bringing joy to the world” thru our Lord and Savior.

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do?  Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?”    Numbers 23:19

Jesus Christ is indeed the God I will serve, forever and ever.  What about you and yours?

Bring a child up and when he is old, he will not forget.  I know that to be true because I was raised in the church, so when I fell down I knew right where to go to get up, again and again, and yet again.  The Lord Jesus Christ is a merciful God.  A God that makes us resilient with the ability to recover readily from any misfortune; allowing us to return to our original position and rebound.

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but out of power and love and self-control.”   2nd Timothy 1:7

I wrote and told you before Jesus Will; “Be your friend, help you set your goals.  Secure your success, giving you joy in what you already have.  Motivate and give you a clean heart coupled with a great attitude.  Inspire your life as well as encourage love.  Instill in you, perseverance, determination, and patience.  Grant your dreams and bless your family.”

Oh! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is the God of all Gods and he is good.  Amen

DREAMS!

A dream is an involuntary action caused by the mind creating a series of feeling, ideas, emotions, and images such as; falling, or being chased by something or someone… Dreams are pictures in our head, a window to our unconscious thoughts.

I wonder if dreams really help us solve real life issues as some think they do, or is dreaming a tease; a fairy tale look at a life we want to have or not?  Does our mind go on a journey to entertain itself?  Is this a natural reaction when it is resting, or just me?

Scholars and idiots alike have been arguing these points and searching for the meaning of dreams for eons.  I don’t have all the answers either, but it could be; “Hope is the dream of a waking man.”

Scientists say dreams occur when we are in a stage of sleep that release a chemical called DMT.  (Dimethyltryptamine)  When this happens, we start REM, (rapid eye movement) causing us to have vivid hallucinations that may deal with our life in some manner.

If you believe dreams come true, beware nightmares come true, too?… Well.  OK, but I haven’t read a single thing in the Bible that support demons from God, or that they are a punishment from him.

FYI: If you are dreaming this type of dream, may I suggest you deal with this through prayer.

“I will lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”   Psalms 4:8

The wrong things, always keep our minds busy with things to do; rational or not. (Satan)  That’s why the bible gives us reasons and solutions for everything; as a matter of fact, sleep is one of them.  Psalms 127:1-2 tells us;

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.  It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; For so he gives His beloved sleep.”

How often have we said we were told in a dream, this or that?  Well, maybe not you, but I have made this statement more time than I choose to admit, and I was wrong when I said: “God told me in a dream…”

Let me make this clearer by telling you about one of my many dreams I had “in living color,”  when that statement came to the forefront.

In life, we sometimes feel the answers are given to us in dreams for a reason, one of them is “God is trying to tell us something.”  Exactly what I thought when I made the statement  “In a dream, the Lord told me I was going to have one of my Brest removed,”   I believed it, and it really did happen.  But the truth is; God did not come to me in a dream and tell me anything, regardless of the outcome.

The physical signs were already in my thought pattern concerning my ailing breast, and because of what I know now, it was not Christ.  I’ll break it down and claim it as human wisdom.  We know everything anyway, so why not.

When the Lord is trying to tell us something he guides and instructs us using The Written Word.  The Bible contains these words, and it is sufficient to make any and all cases.  The Written Word, in the New Testament, tells us there is no need for visions and dreams.

In the Old Testament, this is the way information was passed to the prophets, but now they are spoken to us by God’s son Jesus; The Holy Spirit, The Word of God, that lives in our hearts.)

“For God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”   John 4:24

All I am trying to say is when Jesus was born, he became the Word of God, so God stopped coming to man in dreams and in visions.  Even the bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 5:3:

“For a dream comes through much activity, and a fool’s voice is known by his many words.”

That verse got me to thinking back; it was a loud voice I was hearing in the losing a body part dream, but in my heart, I knew everything was going to be alright because I felt a strange quiet feeling of joy and peace. More than enough for me to take notice.

As a matter of fact, I was ecstatic.  My mind was preoccupied with what my heart was telling me about my new lease on life, including what to do about it.  Cancer was out the picture, and I am not going to try to explain that because I can’t.  “It is what it is.”

All my life I knew there is something I am supposed to do, and I carried that feeling around starting at a very young age.  I just didn’t know what it would be until I was diagnosed in the 3rd stage of Breast Cancer.

My calling is to be a “Living Witness for Christ.”  To share my experiences in hopes of others achieving knowledge about Cancer and what Christ will do and how so am not keeping secrets.

I believe what saved me was instead of complaining and dreaming of a better day; I Praised God for the life I had been given.  I spoke from my heart preparing for whatever may come.  I did not know the words, in the short version, written below would save my life, but they did.

Thank you, Lord, for all that you have given me.  Thank you, Lord, for my mother and the rest; I am ready, if it is your will, Let thy will Be done.”   Amen

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”   John 16:13

This cancer was a matter of life and death, but more importantly, I meant every word I said by allowing Jesus to access my heart, and use me for the good of others.  I was able to be still so I could hear His words and discern them, (understand) obey and Praise His Holy Name.  I was wide awake and more concerned about others than myself.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”   Hebrews 4:12

I had a clean heart and my prayer was answered.  I realized my life was changed, and for a purpose; and that has proven not to be a dream.  I understood I am to be a Living Witness for Christ.  I had to wake-up from the carnal world, listen to my Spirit, and trust myself or I would have missed my calling.

The life I am living now is a “dream comes true;”  a reality.

I don’t know if it is Favor, but what I do know is I followed my heart no matter what.  I trusted God even when some of my experiences seemed to be driving me into a bottomless pit of sorrow.  I did what I thought was right; and that was to seek The Kingdom of God, not just dream about it.

I have been employed to tell you to wake up, for if you do all things can be achieved through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

I wasn’t dreaming when fighting for my life, and I am not dreaming now.  I had been put to the test, and I keep the Faith; that way I could meet challenges head on in a rational and coherent manner.  It was not easy to go against my reasoning.

“And when he test me, I will come out as pure as gold.”   Job 23:10

My name is Norvie L. Cherry, I am a Motivational Speaker, StoryTeller, Blogger, and Author.  (I Survived 60 years to get Cancer, then Kill It.)  This is what I believe to be my purpose in life instead of dreaming up one.  So I guess I am one of the lucky ones, as they say, and it goes to show it is never too late; for I certainly found my purpose, late in life.

Do you know what your purpose is, better yet, are you looking for it?  Please don’t live in a dreamlike state thinking you can conjure up a wonderful existence sitting on your behind doing nothing but wishing and hoping?  Listen to your heart, your Spirit; wake up and smell the sweet scent of life, living it fully thru the Grace of God.   Amen
