FOR NO REASON!

Sometimes we don’t need God to punish us. For “no reason”  we seem to manage that all by ourselves and the Devil appreciates the help. I believe we do wrong at times for no reason other than a lack of self-worth.

“Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible-The kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family.”

Many years have passed since the phrase “No man is an island”  was pretty much the norm.  I lived during a time when people depended on each other; but not these days.  For no reason I can think of some prefer to go it alone.  I think this happens when we try to hide our faults by claiming to not need anyone or anything.  As active as the Devils is the help has to be coming from somewhere.

In years gone by we were fine with what we had, mainly because we are used to having less.  Still, we were able to accomplish what we needed with the help of others and what was available; now the more we have, the less we do and the more we want, for no reason other than “I want it.”  Greed is certainly a motivator and hard work seems to be a distraction.

George Washington Carver once said; “No individual has any right to come into the world and go out of it without leaving behind him distinct and legitimate reasons for having passed through it.”

Some of the things we do for no reason are powerful enough to bring down the best of some of us, just because.  Sometimes the elements of no reason can possibly be a no thought process, or from a  lack of abilities to comprehend a new thought process, or the usual.  I don’t care.

Our uppity proud selves can keep us tied down long pass help without direct intervention from a higher source; Jesus.  Sometimes we have to be put down to get up, and some would still say for no reason.

The things we say out of our mouths can come up and out for no reason, causing damage that may be irreversible, and there is no excuse or reason other than “it just came out that way.”  What a cop-out.  We can and do destroy lives because we say things out of the blue, never considering the consequences or really caring; after all it is all about us, anyway.

When asking questions it seems that the most important ones are how come I, and why not.  What happened to can I help or how can I make a difference?  I can’t think of any valid reasons for not asking the Christ-like questions, except for I am too selfish; which includes the most popular answers for inactivity when it comes to others; for no reason, I don’t know, I have enough problems of my own and I just don’t care.

Some of us have reasons for what we do, and all too often its I did whatever because I could or didn’t want too, is more like it.  At least we can find honesty in the latter answer.  Have we been programmed?

One time I was crying in the shower because my hair was coming out in clumps, and running down the drain.  Although I was on Chemo I had no reason to cry other than, I was programmed to do so.  I know that sounds crazy, but I was crying because I thought this is what I was supposed to do from watching too much television.  (Cancer movies)

Paying attention to the ways of the world, instead of my heart and the promises from God sent me off track.  In my heart, the Holy Spirit revealed to me there was no reason to worry concerning Cancer, Jesus will be my healer.  That’s a good reason for having no reason, still, I failed.  For just a moment I lost touch and I forgot to Trust me, even when I had no reason to…

Yes, it hurt to see my hair running down the drain, and it was the first time I cried over anything relating to Cancer.  After all, I was supposed to be prepared, and I had been warned in my Spirit this would happen, but for no reason, I forgot all about my strength and faith in God.  I knew my hair would grow back in due time,; but I was weak for no reason I can think of except, I let myself down.

Doing things for no reason is a cop-out and cowardly.  Those reasons can easily be coupled with nothing at all, leading to a failed life, and for no reason, we just don’t get it.  What went wrong, we scream.  We fall in love for no reason and most times we embrace it, which is a good thing.  An even better thing would be to give thanks and fall in love with the Lord Jesus Christ for no reason.

If we really don’t have reasons for what we do, may I suggest for no reason we do something for the betterment of others?  I am sure if we think hard enough we can find plenty of reasons, and this can result in giving us the reason for why we are here.

We all have a purpose, the point is to find what it is and then put it to use.  We as humans need something to make our lives important, to stand and be a part of something worthwhile.

“If I didn’t have a purpose in life I would have no reason to write to you.”

Instead of being lazy about our life and all it entails, and if we face the fact that we are here for a reason.  Just by helping others we may find and have a purposed filled life, (No reference to the book.) thru our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Some dislike the way things are for no reason.  Then there are those who have good reasons for what they like, dislike and what they do.  But to be unjust toward God is another thing, blaming him for all our mistakes only produces losers.

Do you think some of our no reasons may be caused by people hanging on to hate, thinking the pain will come if they don’t?  Deep inside there is a real us just waiting to be relevant, and still we can find no reason to be all we can be because of no reason.  What kind of sense does that make?  Some life, uh!

The Bible is the only true book loaded with real reasons for everything.  This book explains acceptable reasons for getting divorced; you will need biblical grounds for it, so don’t get it twisted.  Reasons not to get a tattoo, reasons for marriage, reasons for not having sex outside the marriage, polygamy, even reasons not to worry; and this is just the tip of the iceberg.  The Bible gives us good reasons for everything.

You, do you; I need a reason for every right or wrong with a clear purpose for doing it.

The God I serve, Jesus Christ has a reason and a purpose, and we are made in his image, causing me to believe I have the same.  So I am putting to use what I believe to be my purpose, and that is to tell you;

You are not here by accident, we all were put here for a reason, and purpose

“Everyone who is called by My name, and whom I have created for My Glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.”   Isaiah 43:7

FYI: this means doing everything possible to Praise and Please God for His Glory; this is the reason He gives for our existence and meaning of our existence.

When we trust and obey the Will of God, while praying for guidance, we will have plenty of reasons to put no other gods before him, love our neighbors as ourselves, do unto others as we would have them do unto us, and to love and honor one another.

These are just a few reasons.  So the next time we think to do something for no reason, stop and give purpose to all we do, in the Name of Jesus; for no reason other than we might learn, learn something and gain “Everlasting Life.”  Pick up the bible and read all bout it for yourself

We all matter, so choose Christ for the real reason; creating a life with purpose, and fulfilling our hunger for peace.

Thank you, Jesus, thank you, Lord, for you are my reason and my purpose.   Amen
