For the ones out there who say, what I write is rubbish. I know for a fact you haven’t walked in my shoes. That is the very reason I am writing to you. I pray that you can avoid some potholes, so I am going to tell you again. I experienced everything I write about. I am not into fiction unless it is a good Science Fiction Movie.
This is one of my Testimonies, and it is based on a True Story. I guess you can say I have learned a few things, the hard way.
Sometimes I have to shake my head when I remember some of the mistakes I have made. But the mistakes are not the reason my head is shaking; it’s what caused me to make the mistake in the first place. The truth of the matter is I was Protecting My Mojo!
“That’s who I am and I am not changing; I’ve been this way all my life. If you don’t like it, leave.”
Usually, this statement was used as a defense, but you couldn’t tell me that at the time. Touchy and foolish was I.
Psalm 107:17 says; “Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffer affliction because of their iniquities.: (Wickedness)
If it wasn’t a compliment, I didn’t want to hear it. Now, you wouldn’t have known that because I hid my real feelings, Lying to myself while knowing in my heart it was only Pride.
I was special and didn’t make mistakes. My parents said they were not raising any fools, and as far as I was concerned they were right. But when I blew it, and tried to save face, deep down in my Heart I knew better. So, I would have to admit, I was wrong, because not admitting would make me appear far more ignorant, IF NOT MORE FOOLISH. By speaking up, I could redeem some part of my self-esteem.
“Lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.” Proverbs 10:12
Far worse than that; Narcissistic: consumed with self-love, self-centered, and self-absorption. Refusing to humble me, because I am all that, and a bag of chips.
“The wise inherit honor, but the fools only get shame.” Proverbs 3:35
Mad all the time because things don’t go your way. You know what I am talking about, “my way or the highway.” Having a hissy fit because someone you find not worthy, received a blessing.
“Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple.” Job 5:2
Now if the shoe doesn’t fit don’t claim it, because the Bible also say; “Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand.” Psalm 94:6
When we realize that the person we built ourselves up to be is not the person God meant for us to be, self-implosion may happen. Usually, it is accomplished by our own hands.
DON’T LET THIS MESSAGE SELF DESTRUCT IN 5 SECONDS
Hopefully, as the years pass, we would have learned from our own foolish mistakes; gain more compassion for others and become less selfish about ourselves.
I can finally admit that it was all about me, and now I am able to change my ways, I can open the doors, for Truth and Purpose.
It’s up to you to believe it or not. One thing is for certain, and the other two are for sure. You are going to meet The Maker on your way up or on your way down.
Oh yeah! I got rid of that Mojo, it left me time to do other things. I received JESUS CHRIST, AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR.
