GO AHEAD!

Some unknown person said a mouthful when he or she said, “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” Sounds reasonable, and definitely not usual for this carnal world. Go ahead believe what you want. I’ll believe in Jesus. He said he knew you before you were formed in the belly. So instead of trying to predict my future, which had already been declared, I will stick to the words of Christ. Which also tells me, “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.” That’s in James 4:14.

There are some things that I can do all by myself. I can choose what to wear, how to talk or walk that walk. Make wise decisions about myself and sometimes others, and where I should and should not go, even the simple things like tying my own shoes. Some of the things that I can do all by myself are most often not given a single thought. Life Is Not One Of Them.

Go ahead, try it. Try living life all by yourself. Maybe you’re the one to do it. But in my opinion, you can’t do anything without Jesus, or the army that comes to Him.

Sometimes my mind is made up, and you cannot change it. But not to be made a complete fool, I may have to admit I could be wrong, or recognize my way may not be the best course to follow. When I realize this, it is normally in the mornings when I am fresh, so the thought process I had last night could have been flawedWhen I looked back on last night, last week, or whenever, I realize I have to make adjustments, now.  I cannot correct any wrong doings or look back to life if I am dead.

Go ahead… Recognize and handle it. What you did last night may not be the right thing for you today. Wake up and Pray. Some days are unrelenting. Make it easy on yourself through Christ.

There is not enough time in this world for you to get all the things accomplished that your heart desires, or the ones that are really necessary. It is certainly not the fault of others that this doesn’t happen. To achieve or fulfill your wants, you have to get started… Now! The only time it is too late, is if you continue to do nothing. Give it your best shot, because success can happen with an effort. Remember, time is going to pass regardless of what you do or not do. I suggest you make that move. I did, and Testifying about Jesus. Telling you He does what He says He will do. If only you would just Go Ahead, and do your part.

A MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH!

A lot of times I question myself about some strange but somehow normal things. For instance, the worlds we live in, concerning death. One is the Natural World which is referred to as Carnal. Romans 8:6; “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Science dictates that the brain is the author of and lord over the body. When the brain dies so does the body, unless you are hooked to one of those synthetic remedies. Alive but yet still dead, for all practical purposes. Now, on the other hand, there is; the Spiritual World. Ephesians 1:17 says, “The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” When you live inside the rules of the Kingdom of God, the Heart is the engine that keeps you alive through Jesus Christ. “And, Whosoever live and believe in me shall never die…” John 11:26.

The brain is the adjuster; receiving the correct orders from the Heart and for the rest of the bodily functions. It is the willingness of devotion of the Heart that gets things done. Hebrews 7:16 tells us, “Precious in the Sight of the Lord is the Death of his Saints.” You may or may not have a good life on this Earth, but that does not mean that you cannot obtain one through Jesus Christ. Pray for new life before death overtake this old one. After all, He is the One who said there is Life after Death, and I’ll take that to the grave, and live on, in my opinion.

I Wanna Grow Old

I was told that you are as old as your thoughts and as young as your despair.

I want to live long enough to get old and at some point to have been useful.

Psalms 116: 26 says; “Precious in the Sight of the Lord is the Death of His Saints.”

I am not the one trying to give the Lord grief. It’s simply this, I don’t want to be remembered as an old fool. I want to be remembered as a woman of character.

There was a time that if someone asked me what my plans were for old age, (since retirement was out of the question) I might have said, “I guess I will just die.” And yes, I actually said this to my Godmother and she had a fit! She had me go to the Concordance and look up every word if I had to, and come back with the right answer. After the third try to long distance Bible classes from my 91-year-old T.T., I found John 11: 26. Jesus said;

“AND WHOSOEVER LIVE AND BELIEVE IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE. BELIEVE THOU THIS?

So I am going to do the best I can for as long as I can. I am going to praise God for allowing me to get up in years. And I mean in more ways than one. I am going to remember the things I use to do and strive to do the things I can do better. When someone calls me old, I am going to pray that they get there too. Did I mention… The only way to get old is to live!

And finally, I will pray not to be a strong>vindictive old woman. Strong, I can’t stand it and am sure you won’t stand for it.

Breathe on me, Oh Lord! I need to be a voice in your Army.

According to me.
