I am writing a book because the truth is the light. All is not lost when there is Faith and someone around to remind you of that, someone like me. I thought this book would be a golden opportunity for you as readers to walk for a moment in someone else story as they walk toward God. With someone given a task to motivate others and share a promise from God. There are 8,000 promises in the bible. They are there for when you need more help than the world can provide. I found that out fast.
My name is Norvie L. Cherry, feel free to call me Cherry. I believe this book was preordained, and I believe it should be read. I received a miracle and was given a testimony. A real life experience to share with the world. When I was diagnosed in the 3rd stage of Breast Cancer in 2008, I went home, sat on the steps and gave my life to the Lord. I said, “LET THY WILL BE DONE.” I did not know at the time those words would save my life.
I believe God wanted my voice, and when he could trust me to do his will, he gave me some 1st hand knowledge, and a platform to speak from. I am at peace with that. I believe I am supposed to write what he gives me, in an obedient manner, to motivate his people. I pray my story will give a good conception of God’s unrelenting Mercy. I am focused on the task at hand. I feel as if I have been taken over by the spirit and I know it had to be Holy. My mouth was running a mile a minute and I couldn’t stop. Those words coming from me was and still is about what God would have me say, and do. I didn’t recognize myself. Then I thought about Abraham. I believe this was one of God’s incredible miracles. It is time to step out on Faith and tell these stories and personal experiences of my life. You see. I had to survive long enough to get Cancer, to receive a Blessing, to write a Book and Testify that God is Real. So when I sat on those steps it was a matter of life or death. When I surrendered, my life began. I was 60 years old.
This book is a part of my old and new walk with God. He wants me to tell you what he can do. I believe you already know that it is just a matter of doing it. I pray the words streaming from my mouth will motivate you to do just that. I believe this book is needed to carry out a cause, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I believed God called me and this book, for such a time as this. I must write what is in my heart. We as a people need to hear some good news. It took Cancer to teach me how to LIVE! I need to share that with you. Never give up! You are worthy no matter how long it may take. I have always believed in taking care of my mother was my purpose in life. I didn’t realize you could have more than one. I know now.
I hope you enjoy this adventure. Someone once said to me, “HOW MANY TIMES YOU THINK GOD IS GOING TO KEEP SAVING YOUR LIFE?” Well, after you finish reading the book, maybe you will agree with me, “AS MANY TIMES AS HE PLEASE.” I am determined for you to find something in this story that will encourage and motivate you to follow your heart. Get in right standing with God so that HE can access you and your unique ability.
REMEMBER THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR BUT THE LORD.
